This is my first time owning such a firm bed, but I went with it based on my conversation with the local mattress specialist. After a one week adjustment period, my sleep quality has definitely improved from my previous mattress. The quality feels excellent, and the movement isolation is unreal; movements by another person are practically unfelt.

We love our King ProAdapt Firm. We had a Classic Deluxe and needed to replace. We knew the new mattress would feel extremely firm at first but softens up after sleeping on it. Worth not having backaches. The ProAdapt is taller than our older model so being 5'3", I have to have a step stool to get onto the bed. Minor problem for the comfort. We also have Tempur-Pedic mattresses in our guest rooms.

Until I decided to invest in myself and get a TempurPedic! What a wise decision!!! Not only the mattress is amazing and I fell no pressure, but the neck pillow... I am 34 years old and have been struggling with reoccurring back pain (from an injury that happened 7 years ago). I noticed with my last flare up that the pain was just getting worse and I'd toss and turn all night in excruciating pain (with my old mattress). I finally decided it was time to kick the old mattress to the curb and see if it was just adding to the problem... SO glad I did. I've never owned any kind of memory foam bed and I'm a side sleeper so this was a big change for me. Since the first nights sleep my back pain had completely diminished. I am a skeptical person, but it's been over 30 days now and my back/hip pain is gone. This mattress isn't too soft and it's not too firm, it's the perfect in between. I've even been falling asleep on my back (I've always been a side and tummy sleeper). I also decided to splurge and get the adjustable bed frame (they offered a good package deal), me and the hubby are quite happy with it... ;) I never leave reviews on anything but just not having to deal with the agitating back pain anymore is a pretty big deal to me, I love this mattress!!

I've had some awesome night sleeps in this bed no more pins and needles feeling when sleeping on my side anymore. Also even just as comfortable sleeping on my back and the best part I keep cool throughout the night no more waking up in sweaty sheets. Thanks Tempur-pedic!

The TempurPedic ProAdapt Firm mattress is as anticipated and we have not been disappointed with its purchase or the Power Base that we decided to go with this time around. Both are of excellent quality and have once again been providing a good night's sleep to both my wife and I.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] TEMPUR-ProAdapt® Medium Hybrid is the most comfortable mattress I've ever had. It's the ideal blend of support and comfort. The high quality material conforms to my body in a good way. My sleep has improved and I am waking up less each night. I also like that the cover can be removed and washed.

If you had to jump from a burning building onto this mattress you would die... it's hard as a rock, does not contour and hot! The mattress in the store is wildly different than this one. No side sleeper should ever try this. The fact my sales rep recommended it as ok is criminal. I haven't slept in weeks. It's 4am and I just moved to the couch. Don't buy this mattress it is not what is advertised in store!!!

The Firm mattress has stopped my husband's snoring and molds to our bodies, while not irritating our sore spots, like shoulder areas. The only thing that was frustrating was registering for the warranty because with the mattress already being installed, the label with the serial number is on the bottom of the mattress and we're not able to lift the mattress to get to the label so not sure how to track down the serial number otherwise. Otherwise, the bed with the new low profile Tempur-Pedic split king box spring feel amazing and we are sleeping so much better than we have in years.

I have gone through 4 mattresses in 4 years. They were either poorly built, too soft or too firm causing back aches or sore presser points. I have both hips replaced and one knee. I purchased the Tempur-ProAdapt Medium Hybrid about 7 weeks ago. This mattress is awesome! It is supportive without being hard. You feel yourself being cuddled without sinking into it. It is easy to move around in. I normally sleep hot but with their cooling technology I'm cool and comfortable all night. It used to take me quite a while to fall asleep, Not now, I fall asleep right away. I used to toss and turn through the night, now I can fall asleep and stay asleep for the entire night waking up in the same position. I'm both a side and back sleeper and this mattress is great in either position. I can't say enough about this mattress. It cost more than my other mattresses but it is well worth it. I just wish I had gotten it sooner. I look forward to going to bed and sometimes go to bed early because it is so comfortable. I have the adjustable frame which makes it even more awesome. Thank you tempur pedic for the perfect bed for me.
