I had my old temperpedic for a long time 20 years. When I first felt my new mattress I thought, I might have made a mistake getting firm when I sat on it, it felt like a board. But when I laid down, it was wonderful! You sort of just mold into the mattress. I love it! I also got the adjustable frame so I can raise my head and feet. Love that too!

I tore the sheets apart to find it was a Temper Pro Adapt mattress on an Ergo power base. This was great for my lower back problem, which I no longer have. It is a high quality mattress with a high price, but really worth the money. This is my second one. I had my first one for 20 years. I should note that it was making my abs burn after laying on it for more that 8 hours straight. It was like doing a tiny crunch every time I moved. I move a lot when I sleep so I was getting quite a workout. After round a month my abs were used to it and were quite firm, and the morning burn went away. Maybe I'm the only one who experienced that, but the mattress is so comfortable and my wife loves it so much I decided to just live with it and take the workout while I was sleeping as a perk.

We bought something else. As soon as it was delivered, I think we instantly regretted it, but we lived with it for a decade. Crappy sleep finally caught up with us and we could tolerate it no longer. After a brief call with the customer service department to ensure we got the EXACT SAME MATTRESS as we had before, we ended up with the ProAdapt. First night, I got 4 hours of deep sleep according to my watch. I literally passed out on it. I've been sleeping like a dream ever since. We love this mattress and with their return policy, if it's not for you, you can return it.

We like the bed. Proadapt hybrid actually helps you roll over in bed. Try it in comparison to a standard bed. My only complaint is even though these beds are supposed to be cooler than the older beds, (which I just got rid of) I dont see it. Had my old bed for 10 years. Was happy with it so that's why I bought another. Even though it seems hat at times, we still like it.

I learned a long time ago that you truly do 'get what you pay for' and, in this case, I absolutely have no regrets in paying for, and getting, a premium mattress that has helped us so much. My hip and shoulder pain were GONE after only a few nights. The motion transfer or disruption is just nonexistent (which I find great value in), and overall we just sleep soundly! I waited for far too many years to make this crucial investment for my physical health but also my mental as I sleep soundly now and wake up feeling way better. If this is in your budget, I can confidently say that it is highly unlikely you'd be anything but happy with your purchase. I tried almost literally a dozen other mattresses, trying to get to this quality, but now I know I should've started with a TempurPedic.

My only complaint, after six weeks, is the outgassing of the bed. Initially the smell was very strong, so I did not even use the bed for the first 10 nights!
