But after the first couple of nights I noticed the pain in my back I normally feel when waking up was completely gone. I love this bed and expect it to last a long time

I have a herniated disc in my back and my old mattress of 22 years left me feeling like it was hit by a Mack truck when I woke up in the mornings, if I slept at all. I bought and adjustable bed base also and it was the best decision I made in years. From day one my back stopped hurting when I slept and I could feel the pressure being relieved from my spine. Sometimes when I get home from work I lay down for and hour just so my back will fill better, I never did this before I bought this mattress. I can sleep all night without pain for the first time in years. LOVE this Mattress

We let our pups sleep with us and they move around at night which in the past would wake me up anytime someone shifted. The motion transfer technology on this mattress is incredible so I don't wake up when the boys move around anymore! As far as comfort goes it's like sleeping on a soft, cool cloud! I am getting the best night sleep of my life every night now.

When Tempur-Pedic says Firm, they really do mean Firm. It may take a few nights of sleep, to get use it. One thing that really made a difference, we purchased the Tempur-Pedic sheets. Cool and comfortable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] TEMPUR-ProAdapt® Medium Hybrid is the most comfortable mattress I've ever had. It's the ideal blend of support and comfort. The high quality material conforms to my body in a good way. My sleep has improved and I am waking up less each night. I also like that the cover can be removed and washed.

The mattress was too firm. As is recommended, for the best night's sleep, I slept on my back. Every morning, upon awakening, I would roll over on my side, and that was uncomfortable, for me. As long as I stayed in one position, on my back, it was bearable. I gave it almost three weeks, then texted the salesperson, and told him of my unhappiness.

From an engineer & doctor couple... this is our 2nd Tempur-pedic and it just keeps getting better with age, no kidding. Our 1st, a queen bought in 2012, is going to one of the kids, because we upgraded to a king. The only problem with this brand is you get so spoiled that traveling becomes a chore knowing no hotel, cruise, or other family member's mattress will be as comfortable; unless of course its a Tempur-pedic. Find one on-sale and pull the trigger; you won't be disappointed. Also, don't be afraid to go for the firm level.

I bought this bed because I was having major issues with back pain making it difficult to get out of bed in the morning - I opted to go with a firm mattress because this is what my mom had and it seemed to help her. My first night on this bed, it was so much firmer than anything else I had ever slept on before that I thought I had made a huge mistake in purchasing such a firm mattress. We owned a Tempur-Pedic Rhapsody mattress for many years. We were waking up many times thru the night, as our body was hurting. With our new Pro Adapt soft, we are sleeping thru the night and waking up feeling rested. The mattress is firm enough to be supportive, but soft enough to keep our shoulders and hips cradled. I know there are a lot of copy cat memory foam mattresses, but I am a loyal Tempur-Pedic customer. These mattresses hold up the way cheaper mattresses cannot. The only problem is that I can't wait to get back into bed after my day!
