This is definitely one of the best mattresses money can buy!!! My wife and I are 100% super-super satisfied with the purchase of our Tempurpedic Pro Adapt Firm California Split King mattresses. One word to sum up how we feel each and everyday we wake up "Refreshed" Oh did I already mention the part how each and every morning my wife and I hate to get up from laying in our Tempurpedic Pro Adapt Firm mattress? (lol). Yes, these mattresses are that darn comfortable! You won't want to get up from laying on it! Highly recommend going to a sleep center and checking it out for yourslef and with Tempurpedic's 90 day sleep trial how can you go wrong?! I promise-promise you won't be upset if you check this mattress out, but I know without a doubt that if you don't you will definitely be missiing out on the best (dab-nab-it) sleep you ever experienced in your entire life! We are still breaking it in but I will say it is the most comfortable mattress we have ever owned. We did trade out the box springs for the smaller version because of height issues. We wished the box springs came in a small, medium, or large. We would have preferred a medium height. Still we are enjoying great sleep.

The Pro Adapt soft is not what I would call soft. It is firm with a little hug to your body. Easy to turn over in. The cooling gel center doesn't really help a lot when having a hot flash, but the mattress doesn't sleep hot. We have only been sleeping on this for a month. My shoulder would hurt after sleeping, not any more. They tell us it will get softer. I think it will be 5 stars then.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ProAdapt mattress is truly the most comfortable mattresses I've ever slept on. My wife, who has had a history with back pain, would agree. Once you've laid on a Tempur-Pedic, you won't want anything else. The cooling effect from the mattress is wonderful, it really helps keep you comfortable through the night. The mattress even looks better than other mattresses. It's definitely a quality mattress that will last.

Slept on the mattress 3 months. It's taken a bit of work to break in the mattress. I walked on it for a total of 75 minutes per my salesperson's recommendation. My back feels great most mornings. It's a little more firm than I'd like for side sleeping.

Love the idea of this mattress but unfortunately I wake up every morning extremely stiff and in pain. When initially looking at mattresses and talking with a sales person, we were recommended the soft mattress due to being a side sleeper/ back sleeper at times. Really wish we didn't take the advice of our sales person & got a firmer mattress. My sleep has been awful since & overall quality of life has declined. And unfortunately are stuck with a mattress that we don't enjoy.

My wife and I had our last Tempur-Pedic mattress for about 20 years, so we were concerned at the change. We went with the Pro-Adapt Firm because it reminded us the most of our previous mattress and are so glad we did. Something about the combination of firmness + the slight give of the Tempur-Pedic material makes for an amazing comfort. We have not had an uncomfortable night's sleep since we got it almost a month ago.

I had a great experience at Jordan's furniture buying my temperpedic mattress. I purchased the soft option and should have gone a little firmer. But I made the selection, so I have to live with it. It's far superior to my old mattress. I also looked at sleep number bed, but chose temperpedic.
