[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It took me maybe around two weeks to get used to the mattress as it is definitely different than my old spring mattress. I decided on tempurpedic because I often get lower back pain. It is super comfortable now and I never wake up with any back pain again!

Ok people, I'm 22 years old. I've slept in three beds in my entire life. Obviously started out in a crib, moved to a twin and slept on that same mattress until about 19. Moved in with my fiance and sleeping in a king mattress until May 11th 2020 when our Split King Pro-Adapt mattresses finally arrived! We both got to the point where we were having a lot of problems in our old mattress. He has sciatic nerve issues occasionally and is always tossing and turning. I am a very light sleeper and was barely sleeping the last 3 weeks before our new mattress was delivered. The nerves in my lower legs also seem to go crazy when I am laying down so any type of movement from my fiance makes it that much more stressful especially when he thinks he has to launch hmself in and out of bed in the middle of the night lol. It was miserable! We decided to get a firm split king because of our different needs though we both wanted a firm mattress and I had read previous reviews where some people no longer felt their partner move around so that really made me want a split king. We decided to pair it with the Ergo adjustable base (Separate review.. life changing) and it took over a month to get everything delivered but finally low and behold we are sleeping better! Love me a firm mattress! Our old one just felt too soft and I couldn't seem to find a position where my body truley felt relaxed. I barely feel him moving around and the nerves in my legs have calmed down so much I would assume due to now I sleep wih the bottom end of the mattress lifted (Thanks Ergo base)! I have been sleeping better though still having some issues on night where I just can't sleep. I am getting ready to buy some new pillows from here that I think will work with the mattress and base and completely fix all of my problems! If you get a firm, once you set it up, it will feel really hard but don't be alarmed! That will change when it warms up to the temp of the room. When we set it up and sat on it, we looked at each other like uhhhhhhh this is like laying on cement and we were hoping we didn't just make a giant mistake lol but nope it was perfect once it warmed up! Only thing that kind of sucks is that I read you shouldn't use heated blankets on the mattress. I have been using a heated blanket the passed 2 years since my feet can't ever get warm. They are always freezing cold at night and would cramp up in the middle of the night so I'm having a lot more cramping now but it's a small price to pay. I think I just need a better comforter. Overall, I love this mattress and am trying to convince my parents they should get one too! Was well worth the money! You spend a big portion of your life in bed. Might as well be comfy! All of my future bed products will now be purchased through Tempur-Pedic!

My wife Loves the new be as for me I wish there was a middle ground between softer bed and this medium hybrid. I really like a little more of that feeling of a sinking in. If you are a HOT sleeper all the fancy sheets, Hybrid technology does not totally resolve the heat problem. It is Cool when getting in bed and if when you do get hot you just have to move to cool of for a short period of time. Talking to others all the new memory foam beds have this issue with heat no matter how many fancy features they add. Quality wise this bed is made to last

The effect was immediate, no more tossing and turning nights. It took me a few nights to realize that I was sleeping so soundly that I wasn't awake tossing and turning, looking at the clock or getting up to go to my recliner. My aches and pains are gone or lessened. The mattress does not move when my husband does. The mattress is what it is hyped to be, a wonder.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great mattress that has helped eliminate my back problems. The new design with the easy zip cover is stylish and easier to remove. I've been using this for several months now and as a result the back pain and problems I have experienced have been Reduced to the point where I'm not in pain most of the time unlike before now. So I can undoubtably say the Tempur-pedic pro adapt firm mattress has improved the quality of my life.

When I first bought this mattress I didn't know what to think as I have never owned or slept on a Tempur-Pedic mattress before. Our previous mattress was over 11 years old and was an excellent mattress (Lady Americana). We loved it but of course at 11 years it wasn't as comfortable as before. My wife and I went to a local retailer and tested out multiple Temper-Pedic mattresses and decided on the Pro Adapt Hybrid (Queen) as I am 6'2 and 225 lbs. We also purchased an adjustable ERGO base. This has the Zero G function that relives a lot fo pressure from my wife's back as she has back pain due to an accident and major surgery. The first 3-4 months was not as comfortable as I thought it would be. The reason seems to be that the mattress was actually correcting my sleeping position and this caused my lower back to hurt for about 2-3 months intermittently. After that period I sleep like the dead on our mattress, LOL. I will say that sleeping on my back is a little tricky and this mattress doesn't quite support my lower back as much as my old mattress, but I fall asleep on my side and that does the trick. If you are looking for a mattress to sleep on your back and you are over 200lbs, I would recommend the Lux Adapt (Firm), if you can afford it. Its pretty pricey. I have only had the mattress for just under a year so this review is based on that time frame. So far, so good. I would like to give it a few more years and see how well it holds up. Overall it seems like a good purchase and if you can afford it, this mattress seems like a solid purchase, but only time will tell.

I've been sleeping on my Tempur-ProAdapt soft for a month now and I love it! I decided on the soft because I am a petite 110lbs and figured I would not get the true cushy benefit on a medium or firm. So far it is perfect and I noticed right away the first night that when I get into position I stay there almost all night! I used to toss and turn and always had shoulder pain and hip pain. My back feels great when I wake so even though it's soft it's supportive. Had a frozen shoulder in the past from bad position sleeping on a regular mattress. Decided to splurge on this bed to benefit my health. I also purchased the adjustable base to complete the experience! Only downside was strong chemical odor from the mattress for the first few weeks. I stripped the bed everyday and opened the window to allow it to air out. Now today 4 weeks later it is very minimal, I'm sure it will dissipate completely soon.

I was hesitant at first, I had heard that Tempur-pedic's could be hot to sleep on, and I am a very hot sleeper. I was also concerned it may be too firm, I like fluffy clouds, ha. However, I was so pleasantly surprised the first time I laid on it, how it literally felt like it was holding me. I have trouble with my hips hurting when I sleep, and this is the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. I don't toss and turn anymore, and I don't wake up in night sweats. My husband also likes that it doesn't make noise when he gets up earlier than me in the morning, so he doesn't wake me. It is heavenly!!

We have had the ProAdapt Soft mattress for almost 1 month (January-February) and we are still getting used to it. Initially the mattress was hard as a rock. We put an electric blanket on top and increased the thermostat to 72 degrees to help "break it in" and it took 3.5 weeks but it is now "somewhat soft". It appears to get much warmer throughout the night when compared to the memory foam we previously had.

Everything is just fantastic with the new bed. I'm absolutely loving it. I previously had a Tempur-Pedic which I had purchased some 17 years ago. I guess you could call it "The Original". It was time for an update. I had right hip pain and then left hip pain (compensation) and then back pain (more compensation) and the softer bed was not helping at all. I would wake up in the morning just miserable on some days. While the price tag made me cringe a little, it wasn't nearly as much as I was cringing in the mornings and throughout my days, so I figured my body was worth it. I've been sleeping on the ProAdapt Firm (with the 5" foundation) for a month now, and the change in my body was immediate from the very first night's sleep. Not only do I sleep through the entire night now, I also went from limping around in the morning to getting right up and just going, limp- and pain-free all day. Working from home during the pandemic and having to sit for long periods of time can cause issues with your body especially if you get caught up in your work and forget to get up and move around. Having this bed helps to alleviate some of that - making myself get up & move frequently does the rest! After a solid 30 nights of sleeping on it, I highly recommend this particular bed if you are looking for a firm mattress (along with the foundation). The support without sag is 100% consistent. I am extremely glad I made the purchase, and I will never have anything other than a Tempur-Pedic.
