We just bought our second Tempurpedic-ProAdapt Firm mattress because we love it so much! We have a second home in Florida, which is where we spend the winter months. We first bought this mattress for our bed in Kentucky and it dramatically improved our sleeping there. When we came to Florida this winter, we missed the bed so much! We love the support that we had been feeling with the Tempurpedic mattress. After much debate, we decided to duplicate the bed for the time we are here. At first, we felt the bed was too firm, but after a week, we were in love with it! Good support for the back! Took care of my husband's restless legs.

Not only has my sleep improved, I'm no longer experiencing pain in my shoulders or lower back. I'm a side sleeper and this bed is an absolute life saver.

I always thought I was getting a good night's sleep until my new Tempur-pedic ProAdapt became a part of my life! I wake up with a completely rested body now. The plus is that the adjustable bed makes my legs feel so much better. I suffer from adult onset muscular dystrophy and the various settings are so helpful with my comfort. TV watching is an added plus!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mattress is really firm like rock hard, much much harder/firmer than store sample, so be prepared when it arrives. I wanted firm but this is crazy. Hoping it breaks in a little, it is supposed to. What I didn't like though, was that the mattress was ready 2.5 weeks before the metal frame we ordered from tempurpedic, and I had to then build the frame myself, the delivery people should have done it in my opinion and, I had to physically move the tempupredic box springs I already had onto the new frame myself and rush while they brought up the new mattress. They were tempurpedic bases boxes, in my opinion the delivery people should be commissioned to set up your whole bed system, not just switch out the top mattress, that was really upsetting as they call is white glove. Maybe it is better to order it from the store not online.

Our previous mattress was medium density but we needed more support after sustaining injuries over the years. I started to have hip pain and my husband back pain. The firm density instantly began to reduce our pain. It took around 1 week to break in the mattress as expected. We are sleeping peacefully and with dramatically reduced pain at night. We are Tempur Pedic clients for life.

We have sore muscles, achy backs/hips from speed walking, playing softball, general active lifestyle. Sleep is very important! And, it has been restorative, comfortable and worth every penny spent on this mattress! The white glove delivery process was amazing also!

We both like a firm mattress, and I especially need one because of lower back problems, but this was a new level of firm. Yet sleeping and watching TV on this mattress is as comfortable as I've been on a mattress. It's firm but not hard, if that makes sense.

The sides were finally getting very soft, I am now pregnant and began feeling more uncomfortable as each week passed. I had planned on getting the medium or medium-hybrid, but my husband and I went into a store to lay on them. We realized even the firm mattress had quite a bit of give once you laid down on it and that it seemed like the best option for us. We ordered online which was easy; the delivery company messaged us with a couple of delivery date/time frame options. They came in, took our old mattress, replaced it with the new one, and now we are on to better sleep! I am so comfortable on this mattress, can barely feel when my husband moves, and if it wasn't for our noisy cat I would be sleeping through the night. It was time to purchase a new mattress as our original TempurPedic was 10 years old. There was no question we were going to purchase another TempurPedic, so I visited the TempurPedic website and it took minutes to choose our new mattress. Top notch customer service. Our new mattress is absolutely perfect in every way. There was no "break in" period; we had an awesome night's sleep on the very first night. We are TempurPedic customers for life!
