I stored my shoes and some items of clothing in the boxes. I have them in my closet. It keeps my closet organized and I am easily able to see what is in the boxes. I have also used these boxes in my kitchen. I store my rice and pastas in them. They are a good size and fit anywhere without creating clutter.

The lids snap on securely and aren't so big that you can't pack them full and still be able to lift them on and off of your highest shelf. Personally I use one each year to keep all of my receipts, important papers and tax documents. Then I go through them at the end of the year and only keep what I need, do my taxes, label the bin with the year, and stack it with the previous years' documents. These are perfect for my system.

I use them in the pantry to hold snacks. They hold hats and gloves in the closet. They are big but not too big and I love that they are clear

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was expecting these to be a little bit bigger than shoe boxes since that's how they were described. In fact they are much bigger than your standard shoe box, by about 30%. They are 17L x11.5D x 7H. So, obviously they will take up more room. However, they are still a great for storing shoes and other smaller objects. And because they are smaller you won't have to dig thru the box to find what you're looking for. The clear box makes that chore easier too. The lid is easy to remove, no broken finger nails here! Plus it's strong enough to stack another box on top. Unfortunately the shelves in my closet only have 11 1/2" clearance between shelves. So, they won't work for that space, which is what I wanted them for. So great boxes, but unless you only have one shelf in your closet you probably won't be able to stack them. I think a typical shoe box is about 5" high.

At first I thought they would be too light weight to hold heavy things, but they have held up well and can handle more weight then I thought. I like that the lids go on easy, stay in place, and are easy to take off. I even tried stuffing one of the bins with clothing to put in storage and I overfilled the bin so the shape of the bin bowed out a little. I was impressed that the lid still snapped on and stayed in place. I also like how they stack. The best part is they are clear so I can see what's inside.

During the peak of the pandemic I purchased so many hand soaps and sanitizers online that I had them scattered in different delivery boxes, now I organized them in these bins so that they are all in one location and I can easily see through the clear plastic to see what I have.
