We are using these boxes for school supplies, art, current lego projects, video games and controllers, and packing away Christmas ornaments. The boxes are a great multi-purpose size. They are light-weight enough for the kiddos to easily manage yet durable enough to be lugged around by them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love this IRIS 17qt Snap Top Plastic Storage Bin. I use it to store my wax melts. They fit perfectly inside and the lid keeps them from direct sunlight. The storage bin is light but the plastic is not flimsy, it’s actually made nice. The lid fits perfect and it’s just the right size to slide under a bed or even in a closet which is where I keep mine. I can stack stuff on top of it and it holds up fine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was expecting these to be a little bit bigger than shoe boxes since that's how they were described. In fact they are much bigger than your standard shoe box, by about 30%. They are 17L x11.5D x 7H. So, obviously they will take up more room. However, they are still a great for storing shoes and other smaller objects. And because they are smaller you won't have to dig thru the box to find what you're looking for. The clear box makes that chore easier too. The lid is easy to remove, no broken finger nails here! Plus it's strong enough to stack another box on top. Unfortunately the shelves in my closet only have 11 1/2" clearance between shelves. So, they won't work for that space, which is what I wanted them for. So great boxes, but unless you only have one shelf in your closet you probably won't be able to stack them. I think a typical shoe box is about 5" high.

The plastic is thick and sturdy, the lid snaps on easily it also grips firmly on the bin. It's good quality plastic so it won't crack so easily. I'm definitely going to get another one of these storage bins, it's very good quality.

I am able to pack about 5 large sweaters in each bin. In other bins I was able to pack about 6 pairs of shoes up. They seem to be sturdy even when stacked 5 high. The lids sit comfortably on the bin, and you are able to pick the bin up when filled without the lid popping off. Easy to see through and use. Great product!

I put everything from clothing to electronics in them. I have a neater house now. I am also planning to put a few outside in the summer for my gardening ideas. They will make great mini greenhouses. Overall, they store lots of great things in my home right now. The see through look is great for when you don't want to open the whole box, you can see what's in it at a glance already. The lids fit fine. No cracks, chips or imperfections of any kind in the plastic. They are sturdy and full of quality. The color goes with everything as far as the decor. Very happy with these storage boxes! You won't be disappointed. You can fit toys, books, magazines, light bedding and so many other items in these.
