After using this hand blender all I can say is that my old blender may be staying in the cabinet for a while! This blender was so easy to use. I usually like to puree my beans and this works great. I was even able to use it in the same pot I cooked them in - the pan guard is a really good little item! The blender feels sturdy but is not too heavy. The black color I sleek and will go with any decor. One charge lasts a significant amount of time. I have used it several times and I still haven't had to recharge yet. Overall I am really happy with this new blender and I highly recommend it.

This was the answer! The KitchenAid Variable Speed Cordless Hand Blender is great! It’s the perfect small appliance to have when needed to blend something quickly with little to no mess. We have already used this to make a few soups and protein shakes as well. The blender almost suctions to the bottom of the cup so there’s no fear of the blender coming out. It mixes effortlessly and we had no problem blending items such as tomatoes and protein powders. The blender is also very quiet and does not produce much noise. Some hand mixers we have used in the past were loud but this was very quiet. Extremely easy to use also, even for someone that doesn’t do much cooking! KitchenAid products look modern, sleek, and professional. Even the packaging the appliance came in was bold and had the signature KitchenAid design. This is one of the best handheld blenders we’ve ever purchased and I’m glad with went with a product name with trust.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been wanting an immersion blender for a long time after having bought one years ago just for protein drinks. I have a Vitamix but when I make soup, it is really tricky to transfer soup to the Vitamix to blend up portions to make it creamy. Also, the Vitamix has a tall container and it is hard to chop up small portions. That's where the Kitchen Aid Cordless Blender comes to the rescue! I love that it is cordless, one less thing for me to get tangled up in. It works fast, is intuitive to use, and I also love the blender cup for small chopping tasks. I have carpal tunnel and arthritis in my hands, but the blender is not too heavy for me to operate. It does have some weight to it, so be advised. I trust Kitchen Aid and have an awesome convection oven from them that has been going strong for 25 years and other appliances. I expect this appliance to work for a long time and to hold its value just like other Kitchen Aid products.

The buttons are conveniently located to comfortable press both with one hand. The blender is a little heavier than I had originally pictured but nothing too bad. Excited to find new recipes to whip up just to play with it! I love that it disassembles so much to store in a drawer. Very happy!

I recently made a honeynut squash soup and used this immersion blender and the squash chunks blended into the smoothest texture with this thing! It's really very useful and easy to use. It's also very easy to clean! I highly recommend this!
