After our dealer finally delivered the right bed, I personally love it, more nights of restful sleep for me. My husband apparently is never getting a restful nights sleep. This mattress is not cooling by any stretch of the imagine.... I mean unless you sleep on only the mattress. But you see here's the kicker. You have a warranty for this bed, as long as there are no stains etc. So you are forced into buying a cover, which keeps you from potentially staining the mattress but probably obscures the "cooling" feature of said mattress. I'm purely guessing here, but I would think my husband profuse sweating would qualify as a stain which would render the warranty void according to our dealer. So if this mattress really is cooling we would never know. Same goes for these awful "cooling" pillows, they do not work either. They didn't offer pillow covers, so I am sure they are no longer under warranty. Idk its an awful lot of money to spend on the possibilty of a cooling good nights sleep. Not sure I could recommend this to everyone, especially to those without a diagnosed reason for hot sleeping with sweating. Yet I'm happy with this mattress and so is my back, which I have a herniated disc and degenerative disc disease and I usually wake up pretty refreshed and feeling well with my back!

I have to say, this is the strangest mattress I've ever slept on. It feels like a concrete slab at first touch, but somehow the concrete turns to butter the second you lay on it. The foam forms to every part of me that touches it, from my shoulders, to my hips, to my ankles, and warms quickly, creating a sensation unlike any other I've ever experienced. I used to wake up sore almost every morning on my old mattress (which was a foam hybrid, too, but not the right foam hybrid), but that's not something I've experienced with my new Tempur-Pedic. I keep thinking I should, but I don't. This mattress is expensive, but after sleeping on it a bit, I can see why, and I'm glad I spent the money. Without trying to sound hyperbolic, I can honestly say I've rarely been as comfortable on a mattress as I've been on this one, and once I get used to it and stop waking up to freak out about how awesome it is, I think I'll probably start sleeping a lot better, too.

This mattress is not for me. I thought it would be good when I laid on it at the store; but when I slept on it at home it drove me crazy! I like to sleep more towards the edge of the bed but I felt like I was falling off the bed. It felt like I was tipping over. Also the mattress doesn't recover as quickly as spring mattresses do so I felt the indentation when I rolled over. Lastly, I couldn't get warm on the mattress as it was too cold. If I slept with a shirt it would probably be fine but I don't so I'm cold. This mattress might be good for someone who sleeps differently than I do but it's not for me!

Pro adapt medium. If you look at the materials they use on the tag you can see they are not quality. I found this out too late after it lost all integrity in about a year or 2. The problem is they don't honor their warrantees since they make them impossible to actually reach. Foam doesn't sag which is what they require for a replacement, but foam will lose all its support so when you lay on it your hips or any heavier area will sag to the bottom. I am only 145 pounds and it took a year for it to be unusuable.... SUPER sketchy company, do not buy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have loved using this mattress! It is super comfortable and the bed nicely conforms to my shape, making it very supportive. It also is very quiet and doesn't move around almost at all when my spouse moves around at night. It is supposed to help you sleep a little bit cooler but I have found much difference in my sleep temperature. I also like that it's not a super thick mattress and doesn't make my bed super tall. So overall I have really loved this mattress and would recommend this to family and friends! I received this mattress as a free product in exchange for a review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned a Tempur-Pedic bed for about 13 years and it is one of the most comfortable beds I have slept on. I spent 20 years staying in hotels around the world each with a different style or manufacture of their beds. Coming home to relax and sleep in a Tempur -Pedic is as they say "sleeping like a baby"!

My experience has been bad. I bought the mattress from a local mattress company. When I started to have back problems, I called the number for Tempur-Pedic that said "Need Help? Talk to a sleep Expert." They refused to help me other than to tell me to call the mattress store since I did not buy the mattress direct from Tempur-Pedic. When one spends a lot of money to buy an expensive mattress, one would want to try it out first and you can't do that by ordering it directly from the manufacturer, I would think. I think I got the run around from Tempur-Pedic. I spent a lot of money for an expensive mattress and they only were willing to talk about if there was a factory defect. A back problem was a "comfort" issue and I was told to call the mattress store. The most useful comments suggested below says to contain specific information: How this product has changed my life: I have a back problem now. I don't know if it was coincidental with the purchase of the Tempur-Pedic mattress. But despite giving a phone number to call for help, I felt that they blew me off. Things you love about it: Nothing Things you don't love about it: I spent a lot of money to get a superior mattress, and I don't know if it is contributing to my back problem or not, but Tempur-Pedic in my opinion is giving me no useful help.

The company honored our prior owned queen mattress on an adjustable frame with a credit toward a new Adapt Medium Hybrid. It fits the old frame and we find it very comfortable and we are especially happy with the additional support on the sides of the mattress.

Not sure it was the right decision to purchase this mattress. The sales person did a great job selling his product. For example, "Once you sleep on a Tempurpedic, you won't sleep well on a hotel mattress." I don't find that to be true. Considering the price paid, I had high expectations. I don't think the mattress is making a significant difference in my sleep. I don't find it to be any better, or worse, than my previous, less-expensive mattress. I believe I could have spent less and gotten a different brand product that would have been just as good.

That leaves this as only an ever so slightly less hot foam mattress than other brands. This mattress also requires a 2+ week break in period (starts as medium-firm to firm), but this is a bit typical for foam mattresses. The true benefit of getting this mattress versus the competitors is the better warranty for sagging, and, possibly, a longer life cycle due to higher quality materials. There is discussion that certain layers in this mattress are of lower quality though, so it may not live up to this.
