I am sorry to say that my great expectations of eliminating my lower back pain I experienced with my previous mattress were not met with this new Tempur-pedic. I believe that this may be due to the fact that the mattress delivered to me did not offer to me the same degree of firmness as did the mattress in the showroom.

Our pain has significantly decreased since we switched to a Tempurpedic mattress!! It really conforms to your weight and body shape. The medium is just as stated- not too firm but not too soft. We love our Tempurpedic!

My old traditional bed (coil spring) was very soft....this bed is much firmer and I was worried at first, but it's excellent. I would highly recommend this bed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've only had the mattress for a week or so, but we like it so far. It is quite firm upon arrival (as expected from description and other reviews). I'm sleeping as well as I always have. My partner is still not sleeping great, but that's also typical for him. He's reporting that he has fewer aches, however, so that is a positive. Want to give it more time before making any final decisions on the product.

One of our objectives in buying a mattress was to avoid partner knowing when I was changing positions. This has been perfect. Matter of irritation. In order to fill out the warrantee information, one has to supply the serial number. In order to do that, you have to strip the bed to find the tag, and then remake the bed. They should warn you ahead of time at the store and/or when they bring the mattress to get the serial number before making the bed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] my first 2 months (or so) of sleeping on my new mattress were great. the more I used our adjustable bed, the worse of a "sink" spot right where my hips are when the bed is flat causing my back to hurt more and more. so I am disappointed with that aspect of the mattress. I thought it was just my side, but my wife's side is doing the same thing. at this price point, it should not be doing this.

We have the split king, with the adjustable base. After a night of playing around with all the height adjustments, I finely got a full eight hours of sleep, in the past 35 years! Would recommend this bed to anybody!!!! Great job Tempur-Pedic, Great job!!!!

We have not found it to be comfortable or provide any cooling as sales rep assured us it would be. We bought the special mattress cover and sheets and I am hotter than I was with our previous bed and definitely not as comfortable. It has been 20days & not any different than day 1. We will give it until 30 days and then exchange it for something else.

We purchased 2 Adapt Twin XL Mattresses and we absolutely love them. Our only problem is that we cannot find a fitted sheet that works with the units. All of the sheets are made with much deeper pockets than what these mattresses actually are. Our sheets slide all over and are way way too deep for how slim these mattresses are. We feel like we are sleeping in a mess of fabric. The beds are great but even their own sheets don't fit how shallow they are. If anyone has a solution, I would much appreciate it.

After our dealer finally delivered the right bed, I personally love it, more nights of restful sleep for me. My husband apparently is never getting a restful nights sleep. This mattress is not cooling by any stretch of the imagine.... I mean unless you sleep on only the mattress. But you see here's the kicker. You have a warranty for this bed, as long as there are no stains etc. So you are forced into buying a cover, which keeps you from potentially staining the mattress but probably obscures the "cooling" feature of said mattress. I'm purely guessing here, but I would think my husband profuse sweating would qualify as a stain which would render the warranty void according to our dealer. So if this mattress really is cooling we would never know. Same goes for these awful "cooling" pillows, they do not work either. They didn't offer pillow covers, so I am sure they are no longer under warranty. Idk its an awful lot of money to spend on the possibilty of a cooling good nights sleep. Not sure I could recommend this to everyone, especially to those without a diagnosed reason for hot sleeping with sweating. Yet I'm happy with this mattress and so is my back, which I have a herniated disc and degenerative disc disease and I usually wake up pretty refreshed and feeling well with my back!
