support started failing at 3 months- now little over a year and it is unusable. inspection did not show pillow top indent of 2" (support failure below pillow top!). retailer blamed it on S&F - apparently no one makes mattresses like they used to? still paying for 200 lb mattress that we cannot spend an entire night sleeping on due to pain created by lack of support. purchased foam toppers but not enough- and now getting stuck in the trough and cannot even turn over. so disappointing. S&F uses money to promote branding but no longer on quality manufacturing. now mattress shopping again while still making monthly payments on this mattress soon to be out advertising its failure in the trash. be forwarned. if you are unhappy this company has impossible criteria for return.

I had spine surgery a year ago and I bought another brand mattress just before surgery. It was messing up my spine. I thought I was stuck with it but I went to the store where I bought it and the salesman recommended making a warranty claim. I did and I was approved. I almost bought another brand which looked like it could be a problem. The salesman told me that another store had Stearns & Foster. I am so glad that I checked it out and I ended up buying the Estate Lux UF. At first I thought it was too firm but each day got a little better. It just needs a little time to get broken in. I will be buying Stearns & Foster from now on. The quality and craftsmanship are the best.

As advertised. Very comfortable. First new mattress in 30 years, and what a difference. Quality in workmanship is self evident and the comfort it provides is amazing. The registration process was clear and easy to manage. All around a great experience with this bed. Sales personnel were easy to work with, and no pressure what so ever. Very knowledgeable and able to answer all of our questions prior to purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We started sleeping on our new Stearns and Foster mattress right away. We were on the market for a softer mattress so this one really fit the bill. The soft pillowtop is like sleeping on a cloud! I feel totally supported as I sleep. I also don't sink into the mattress. This is important, because you don't want to have trouble getting out of bed! The mattress is also cool - I never feel hot during the night time. I have always bought higher end mattresses, so I am not comparing this mattress to a cheaper mattress under $1000. If you want to invest in pure comfort, this is a fantastic option! I would recommend to anyone who needed a softer bed.

From the first night we tried to sleep on our Lux Estate Pillow top firm, to the 30 th day of trial, I have experienced great discomfort and no support from the mattress. We "sunk" into the firm pillow top and found it uncomfortable -non-supportive- of my back or hips. Each night we sink into the still sunken area of the bed, which makes it difficult to change position to find some relief of my increasing discomfort. I have required physical therapy weekly to treat the increased pain in my hips and upper back, (this condition was tolerable prior to the use of the new mattress). 50% of the time I resort to sleeping on an extra mattress we have in our guest room so that I can get a comfortable sleep. Our mattress is being evaluated as defective. No matter what the determination, we are exchanging this mattress for a different Stearns and Foster mattress-not another Lux Estate Pillow top firm model.

Purchased another Stearns mattress and within 6 months it sank 2", I had to file a claim and this is the second one I purchased. The other was discontinued so I was at first worried about a firm pillow top that my store had but one nights sleep was good. I have severe back pain and needing a hip replacement in 2 months. So far feels great. Wasn't too firm. Comfortable to sleep in. Hoping this one will last! Can't say yet if it helps with pain because I'm in a lot of pain but I know the last one was great at first.

We've had our Estate luxury firm mattress for almost 14 years now and it's by far the best mattress I've ever slept on, luxury hotels included. Even after vacations to luxury resorts I can't wait to sleep on our own mattress again! I always recommend it to everyone. I know it'll be ready for an update in a year or so, it's starting to sag a little in the middle of the sides, where we sit before getting up. I wish I could keep it for life!

I am very disappointed in the Stearns and Foster Lux Estate 16" Medium Euro Pillow top mattress King Prime model. After paying over $4000 for such a mattress and only after 6 months, I would hope that it would at least not sag yet. The center of the mattress is like rolling up on a hill. Both sides of the mattress have indentations where my partner and I sleep. Neither of us is a heavy person. I might expect something like this to happen with a soft mattress, but this one of the reasons that we have selected medium.

Previously I had purchased a mattress that was for side sleepers and thought it was great until I had my hip replaced. With a new hip I found it was like sleeping in a hammock. My new mattress is wonderful, no more hammock feel but a luxuriously firm mattress that allows me to sleep comfortably and longer.

I thought it was fine, but was excited to try something new. I couldn't have been more surprised at the difference! It doesn't matter if I sleep on my side, back, or stomach- there are no pressure points on my hips, it is cushioned but well supported and I don't get over heated. I sleep with a weighted blanket so I have found that I tend to get hot easily. The mattress stays the same temperature regardless. When I wake up in the morning my lower back, hips and feet no longer hurt. It is amazing!
