Our mattress is very comfortable. I am a heavy person and read all the reviews I could find and did some research on this particular model. I found that this worked best for both me and my wife; average weight around 130 lbs. Sterns and Foster has a good reputation and builds quality mattresses. They also have a great financing plan. Reviewed different mattresses at different online sites....kept going back to this mattress. We purchased the King Mattress and Foundation mid October. The FIRST night sleeping on this lovely mattress we did not toss and turn and actually slept in the next morning. Since then we have had great nights of sleeping. Beautiful craftsmanship and the comfort is out of this world.

The mattress is thick, purple, and has a logo design on the top. It fits well on my existing queen sized platform bed and no box spring or foundation was required. I like that the mattress is a mix of both soft and firm. I have been sleeping on it for a week, and the mattress feels supportive and comfortable. I use a queen size sheet set and mattress protector with this mattress. Even though the mattress is thick, no special sized sheets are required. I would recommend this to someone that is looking for a quality mattress that is not only supportive but comfortable.

Definitely firm, I was concerned it would be too firm But it hasnt been. It's cooler Than my old pillow top but I'm sure that has something to Do with the inter workings of the bed. If you often feel your bed is too soft the Stearns & Foster Lux Estate Ultra Firm Tight Top is the mattress for you. I lay on the floor because it help my back but since having this matress, I no longer need to. It is very firm, the firmest matress Ive ever used and it doesn't make me sink down . Since having it, my hips and back no longer have pain. I sleep longer and wake up refreshed and without pain. My previous matress was semi-firm but gave out after a few weeks. It started having dips and was extremely soft. After a few weeks of using the Stearns & Foster Lux Estate Ultra Firm Tight Top, it still holds up its firmest. This matress is thick where a box spring would sit you up really high off the floor. I would recommend a bunky board instead of a box spring. If you do enjoy laying on the floor, this is the matress for you! You wont regret it.Definitely recommended this product

The lux estate soft pillowtop sleeps incredibly hot. I'm not a naturally hot sleeper but on this mattress I have felt like I sleep in a sauna. Also, as a strict side sleeper, I need a plush feel. This mattress is more of a medium feel; not soft/plush.

I love my lux estate so much I'm a fan on the sterns and tempur family but to me sterns was the better choice it had everything I was looking for edge support great coil System and great comfort layers I know that will last me many years! I treated my self To it while I was working at mattress firm I sold So many sterns and fosters my customers would come back to me so happy saying it help with they back and rest I knew I had to get one for me and my husband we sleep so well ! The only con for me is the mattress is pretty heavy but it does have the best quality materials so I deal with it with care and love it can't wait to add adjustable base

I have been coping with back and hip pain for two years and realized it was my 8yr old memory foam mattress, after traveling and sleeping in hotel beds for a period of time. I decided to shop for a new bed and tried about two dozen mattresses. This particular mattress was like resting on a cloud in the showroom...and after the first night sleeping on it at home, I woke up with no back or hip pain. Now, about a month later...still pain free!! I didn't love the price, but overall worth the investment.
