I used these in my apartment where we aren't allowed to put holes in the wall to hang things. I would have been better off putting holes in the wall because these command hooks ripped the dry wall clean off the wall. When I went to remove the adhesive, pulling downward like you should, EVERY SINGLE tab broke off and they were impossible to get off the walls. They left terrible marks on my walls. So disappointing. DO NOT BUY!

I bought these for a college dorm to hand stuff up, I ended up using only one of these as I had other command strips that I found to be more useful for the things I needed to hang. I used one and decided to take it down however it ripped paint off the wall. I pulled it off just as I would any command product however unlike the others this one ripped the paint. As mentioned I used it in a dorm room meaning I’m going to be fined who knows how much because of this. I wouldn’t recommend this specific command product and now I’m going to have to pay a minimum of 30 dollars.

I have these hooks all over the place. In the pantry closet for keys, inside cabinet doors for measuring cups and spoons, on the side of the fridge for pot holders, inside lower cabinet doors for colanders, dusters and rolling pins.

I cleaned surface like directions state and it didn’t last more than a few days. I was using it to hang pot holders. Would try again not in my kitchen.

[Employee of 3m-command] Junk, junk, junk. I bought these to hang my diecast car collection on the wall. I followed the directions, and with the 205 cars I have displayed almost 30 have fallen off the wall. I had to buy automotive double sided tape to stick the cars to the wall every morning when I get up first thing I do is check the floor for fallen cars. Same thing when I get back from work.

They are hanging from the ceiling and down the walls. The hooks worked fantastic. We are very happy with the finished project.

The clips were used to secure an over-the-door bathroom towel rack from banging against the door when the towels are removed from the rack. The strips failed after about 8 months and needed to be replaced with the stronger velcro type strips with stronger adhesive that I purchased.

They stick on very well and pull off just as easy. I am now using it for my fall decorations, which i put on places that are usually bare and i dont have to worry about plastering my wall as a holliday is over. I recommend 9/10

I bought two packages of these to hang a small strand of lights (50 mini lights) on my living room wall. I followed the instructions on the package exactly and used 8 of the hooks spaced evenly along the light strand to hang it up. I left my apartment for about an hour or so, and when I returned, every single strip except 2 had fallen off the wall. I thought that I had messed something up, so I re-applied new strips to the back of the hooks that fell and stuck them to the wall again. Twenty minutes later they all fell again!! The package says that these hooks are supposed to hold 1/2 pound, and I know the light strand I used didn't weigh even close to that. I was excited to use these for Christmas decorations, but since they have been so frustrating and don't work, I most definitely will not buy anymore!!
