I recommend them more for light things. Hanging a towel is too heavy but a picture frame is a nice size to use it for

I wasn't sure how "invisible" they would actually be but the clear adhesive strips seem to work just as well as the Command standard white foam type ones. Very satisfied.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used these Command strip hooks for lots of different things over the years. These are great for hanging Christmas ornaments. I like that they are clear. They attach easily to most surfaces. These strips are very strong. I plan to keep using these. I absolutely love them.

I bought two packages of these to hang a small strand of lights (50 mini lights) on my living room wall. I followed the instructions on the package exactly and used 8 of the hooks spaced evenly along the light strand to hang it up. I left my apartment for about an hour or so, and when I returned, every single strip except 2 had fallen off the wall. I thought that I had messed something up, so I re-applied new strips to the back of the hooks that fell and stuck them to the wall again. Twenty minutes later they all fell again!! The package says that these hooks are supposed to hold 1/2 pound, and I know the light strand I used didn't weigh even close to that. I was excited to use these for Christmas decorations, but since they have been so frustrating and don't work, I most definitely will not buy anymore!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got them for free and they just make our place a little bit more beautiful because they are just right to hang all our fly swats on them.You have to go by the instruction on the backside of the package.It is important to clean the surface where the hook goes on with alcohol to remove any grease and dirt.After that the hook is very easy and fast applied on the wall.It is not recommended to hang very heavy stuff on them because they might come off.

I used these in my apartment where we aren't allowed to put holes in the wall to hang things. I would have been better off putting holes in the wall because these command hooks ripped the dry wall clean off the wall. When I went to remove the adhesive, pulling downward like you should, EVERY SINGLE tab broke off and they were impossible to get off the walls. They left terrible marks on my walls. So disappointing. DO NOT BUY!

They are great for used where you don't want to drill in screws or nails. Do far the cups have stayed in place and are holding fine. They have helped in both my shower and tub surround with hanging little things out of the way.
