I purchased 7 bottles after being diagnosed pre-diabetic. Immediately the 3x recommended dose was impossible for me to adhere to due to tremendous gas pains and loose bowels that persisted over a 24 hour timeline. After reading comments on Berberine on the internet, I discovered this is a common complaint. I cut back my intake to one capsule/day, waiting 15 minutes after ingestion to eat food. This works better but some GI distress still remains which I alleviate with digestive enzymes. I cannot report on the efficacy of 1 capsule/day but am hoping it will reduce my hA1c somewhat at my next blood work. Will report back in 4 months.

I must say that I was skeptical at first, but now I am just plain impressed. I ordered these to try to lower my cholesterol. Within 2 months my total cholesterol dropped [...]. My LDL dropped [...]. They also have had a positive result on my fasting glucose levels (which I wasn't as concerned with) but it is also impressive. I had researched clinical trials for Berberine before my purchase here, and I am pleased with the results so far. Hopefully the Berberine will continue to drop and get my LDL into the "Normal" range. The only downside that I see is that the price for one bottle has risen a whole $5 per bottle since I originally purchased them only two months ago.

I bought this product from another website exactly 4 months ago. At that time my a1c was 7.9 and I was developing allergies to meds that were otherwise helping and I had to stop taking them just after starting. I started on this product the second week of June, and today my a1c was 6.5. My dr asked me what I was doing different, and this is the only thing. I just ordered 4 bottles from this website just a few minutes ago to take advantage of a special. Does not help me lose weight, but is helping immensely with my a1c! Five stars for me.

I have been using this product for a couple of weeks now and I can't believe how effective this products is! My blood sugar was out of control this during the first part of February. I did some researched and came across Dr. Whitaker's website. I ordered a bottle and took it as directed. I saw how my blood sugar has gone to a normal range. Just had my bloodwork at my doctors office and my AIC is down to 5.9. 7 months ago it was 8.6. My cholesterol went from 259 down to 199 and my triglycerides went from 576 down to 410 and I attribute this to Berberine and Omega 3 defense. Thanks Dr. Whitaker for you awesome products.

I thought I was gettinag somewhere with this in the first two weeks as well as using the Glucose essentials. But I am getting inconsistent results. But I continue to take it in the hope my body will utilize it. Not sure it will and haven't found anything that works. But I keep trying.

For the past year I have been trying different supplements for my diabetes. Initially they took my fasting numbers down, probably because I lost 17 pounds. My wait didn't creep back up but my fasting number did. So 3 months ago I started on Berberine and I am now having great results. I would recommend anyone with diabetes give it a try before prescripion drugs. I went down that path for 6 years and felt lousy.

I bought this , thinking it might lower my blood sugar 5 points or so. No, the. longer I took it, the higher my blood sugar level went. This was the only change in my meds. I have now stopped taking it and the blood sugar has returned to pre Berberine levels. Be careful, it it a fooler.
