The ice maker works well, producing a large amount of ice in a short time.

It's loud for a kitchen that is attached to your living room. If one has a closet or something to put this thing into it would be fine to leave on. I use it to make a full container and then put it into a gallon ziplock bag and store in the freezer. It works pretty good for that but it's annoying. There is a little electric motor that kicks on to spin a little bent arm that is loud. The sound of it reminds me of the old barrel ice cream makers with the rock salt. If they could insulate that little motor from the noise it would be a fantastic little product.

Nice design. Fits under cabinets better than any previous model. Very loud!

Puts out good ice but machine is extremely noisy compared to our last one

Bought this and loved the ice! It was easy to clean, and made plenty of ice. My dream come true! And then sadly it started making this insane noise and i had to choose between my heading and my love for ice. I really hoped this would have fulfilled my ice addiction. The ice is great when the machine works, but sadly it died very quickly

I was excited about this nugget ice maker, it worked beautifully...FOR LESS THAN 6 MONTHS!!!! Because its still under the Manufacturers Warranty, I had to go through Curtis / Frigidaire for a replacement. Here i am still waiting after a full month for a replacement response! They ask you to provide all of your purchase, Model and Serial Info and when you do they continue to stall. Ive called several times and am always told that my issue eill be escalated only to receive MORE emails instructing me to continue to wait on their decision. If i could turn back the hands of time, I wouldve NEVER purchased this unit. I am do disappointed in Frigidaire. I truly thought they were better than this!

Made great ice for a couple of months then there was black plastic pieces in the ice and it no longer works. Contacted customer service and after a month was told to ship it to them at my expense

Everyone has pretty much already stated the same things I would but just to remind you if you need one more vote to stay as far away from this product as you can here is the list. It does not last long before breaking, It is not made by Frigidaire, The real manufacturer has horrible customer service, The warranty is a joke and they expect you to pay shipping on their faulty equipment!

I bought this ice maker mid-June but September it wouldn't power on. At least it's under warranty, I thought....until the company requires YOU pay to ship it back to them after passing their Spanish Inquisition series of questions via email, sending them a video, photos, and signed with a little blood. They make no promise to replace it, once received. So, then, I'm out another $100+ bucks on top of the purchase price. Don't bother. It's not worth the hassle. The nugget ice was nice while it lasted ...an entire TWO months. Seems like a company would stand by the quality of their product a little longer than TWO months if it was worth anything. (for what it's worth, it was also manufactured THIS year).

I bought this product November 2, 2024. It is now January 21,2025 and it does not work. It started making a horrible screeching noise and would not stop.
