Once I tried another brand because I thought it would do the same job as Scott's for less money. Boy was I wrong! Right back to Scott's the next year and ever since. My lawn is perfect and I will never switch to another lawn maintenance product...ever!

Turf builder plus crabgrass halter has made my lawn beautiful. Neighbors are constantly commenting about it and I tell them that this one product is a miracle-worker!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used ALL of Scott's lawn fertilizer products at one time or another and still do to this day, depending on what the issue is. I highly recommend it! I can really tell when I haven't used it ! The lawn is not as lush, weeds coming out here and there and it just doesn't look as healthy. I tried one time to use something a little cheaper, but I went right back to Scotts if that tells you anything.

Not only did I save money, but using only Scotts products I had the greenest, best looking lawn on the block. Halts crabgrass preventer with lawn food was easy to use, knocked down the crabgrass and greened up my lawn nicely. Their app is pretty cool too.

So if you have a problem with crabgrass put it down every early spring and you will definitely see results. I never go a season without using it. If you don't it will definitely crowd out the good grass that you want to keep

Dependible and relyable easy to use and great results. I follow their recomended lawn care plane and i have the best lawn on my block. Really !!!

I moved into a new home and applied crabgrass control two time last season and had in a my back lawn. I usually only use scotts weed and feed with 2X dandelion control. I saw the crabgrass control so I tried it out. I also had a break out of clover and dandelions. I apply scotts weed and feed to my lawn five times a season. I have alway had good results when using it. I think scotts may not work in my the new yard.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always used scott turf gard halt which kills crabgrass starts to germinate. Don't delay in applying as once the temperature reaches 60 degrees , crabgrass seeds starts to germinate. If scott halt is applied before 60 degree that is in march, it will kill crabgrass germination. But apply 2nd time in may to be completely free of crabgrass along with a lush green lawn. Your money won't be a waste as with other product in the market.

According to Scotts, it is important to put this on at the right time. I've been using it now for the past 10 years and I have a fine crop of crabgrass every year. For those who aren't sure of the timing, this might help. Make sure to put it on 135 days before the first frost this coming autumn, between the 4th and 6th hours of the day, and between the 20th and 80th seconds of each of those hours and I'll bet it might work. For the rest of us, save your money because this DOES NOT WORK!
