Ended up using this later in the year than planned but I was having a terrible time with crabgrass and needed to do something. Put it down in the middle of May and we ended getting record rainfall thst help to water it in. Now the end of June and a few mows later I would say that maybe 20% is still around but showing signs that it won't be around much longer.

Excellent product at an excellent price. My only thoughts on this is the packaging of the fertilizer is unclear about the settings on the spreader provided. However I did work it out to set the spreader at 3.5 and it worked out fine. My yard is always the showplace on the street.

This was a fantastic sale from Scott's for the Bundle which included Turf Builder, Small for Northern area and a free spreader. I was looking at purchasing a new spreader, so this was a great buy. I have used Scott's Turf Builder for a few years and love how it has improved my yard. Before that I used Scott's 4-Step program with great results, but the Turf Builder just made my grass look fuller and much more green. Also keeps the weeds away.

The jury is still out on this. It is March and I have applied the product. So far the lawn has greened up. Some weeds have appeared and I did the Fall Winterguard application. Usually in the summer months is when the crab grass creeps in, so feel free to check back with me then to see how my lawn looks.

The Scotts 4 step program truly works in creating and maintaining an attractive and healthy lawn. Been following the program for years. To be able to purchase the group together with a top-notch spreader is a great offer. Besides myself, my son also purchased it and is very pleased.

The bundle was cheaper than if I had bought the bags at a big box store. In addition, I received a free broadcast spreader. This will replace my old Scott's broadcast spreader that is starting to show its age. Bottom line, a great product at a great price and a free spreader!

I still have crab grass. And I have a lot of those little yellow flowers throughout my lawn.

The bundle is a terrific deal. The spreader was a bonus I didn't need, but gave it to a son. The products are pretty good, but not particularly good on weeds!

I have used this product for years, mostly out of habit. I still get crab grass. Perhaps, subconsciously, I believe I would get more if I didn't use it. It should probably be called crab grass abater vs crab grass preventer.

This product is my go-to for a great start for the season to come. It tackles the emerging weeds and greens up the lawn quickly after our hard North Idaho winters. The grass is healthy and thick.
