It works great IF applied late fall AND the early spring

I have lots of dandelions growing .I used the product with halts

This treatment I use every spring, once early late Feb/ early Mar and once later in spring late Apr / early May. It works so well. No dandelions, crabgrass, or chickweed when I do this. It truly works. I can see side by side lawn results. Thank you Scott’s!

The free spreader is what convinced me to buy as I had given away my previous spreader after I moved house and used a service. I was not happy with the results of the service, so decided to go back to doing my own fertilizing. Must say the cost of the Scott’s fertilizer is on the high side compared to other providers with very similar results. I do like the 4 yearly Scott application program because it’s easy to follow. Comparing the Cost of the Scott’s 4-step program with a service ends up as a wash when the service provider is an honest broker.

Years ago, I started using Scotts® Turf Builder® Halts Crabgrass Preventer with Lawn Food and have been pleased with the results. Dandelion and/or crabgrass growth are minimal and usually occur only along the edges of the driveway and property lines. I use a 30+ year old Scotts Precision Drop Spreader and follow the widget settings for each Scotts product I apply. Scotts is the brand I rely on for each application every season.

I really love the fertilizer, it has always done a great job in my lawn however the fertilizer spreader is terrible. The edge guard continually gets stuck or hits something underneath and makes a terrible sound as well as jamming the spreader. It’s very frustrating to use because I had to stop frequently. I have a smaller one with no edge guard and it works but it’s had to push in my big lawn with small tires :(

The bundle was cheaper than if I had bought the bags at a big box store. In addition, I received a free broadcast spreader. This will replace my old Scott's broadcast spreader that is starting to show its age. Bottom line, a great product at a great price and a free spreader!

This was a fantastic sale from Scott's for the Bundle which included Turf Builder, Small for Northern area and a free spreader. I was looking at purchasing a new spreader, so this was a great buy. I have used Scott's Turf Builder for a few years and love how it has improved my yard. Before that I used Scott's 4-Step program with great results, but the Turf Builder just made my grass look fuller and much more green. Also keeps the weeds away.

Excellent product at an excellent price. My only thoughts on this is the packaging of the fertilizer is unclear about the settings on the spreader provided. However I did work it out to set the spreader at 3.5 and it worked out fine. My yard is always the showplace on the street.

The Scotts 4 step program truly works in creating and maintaining an attractive and healthy lawn. Been following the program for years. To be able to purchase the group together with a top-notch spreader is a great offer. Besides myself, my son also purchased it and is very pleased.
