We lived with this for 2 years before finally applying Scott's Turf Builder. Now our lawn is green, virtually weed free, and easy to walk through without shoes. It worked great!

After trying several commercial fertilizing companies I purchased and applied six bags of Scotts Turf Builder. Within three weeks I had a healthy, green lawn and I have continued to use ONLY Scotts Turf Builder and Scotts Winterizer fertilizer ever since. Be smart and use Scotts!!

Also a neighbor's lawn contagious to my lawn was even worse. It was a vacant home. Since it was too late that year for Halts I did treat my lawn the remainder of the year with Scotts steps 3 and 4. The next spring I applied Halts and my crab grass problems were over. I have continued applying Halts each spring and continued with steps 2, 3 and 4 and now am the proud owner of one of the best lawns in my neighborhood.

It makes my yard green up quicker and I never have problems with crabgrass as my neighbors have had. They are starting to listen to me and last year I finally had some competition for the best looking yard in the neighborhood.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This year was a good year for rain turf builder worked great. Surrounded by neighbors who do nothing to their lawns it helps keep the weeds from spreading. Have used Scotts products for years and will continue to use them.

This product worked great but one thing that will help it is to keep lawn watered. Water, especially in July and Aug will help keep grass healthy and will choke the weeds and prevent them to grow. No matter what u put on it, u have to water regularly

This is my second year on a subscription. I have more crabgrass now then before I started using Scotts. Seems like a crabgrass feeder rather than preventer. Luckily, I found a product called Spectracide which does what Scotts does not do. Will be canceling my subscription after this season.
