Used this product as directed, applied early February when a few weeds starting appearing. Three months later there is no crabgrass and no grass either. It completely burned my beautiful grass. I used to have the best lawn on my side of town, now it is a shameful display. Called Scotts and they reimbursed me for the product, but now I have spent more money watering EVERY day to bring it back to life. It is now June and it is barley coming back after a huge water bill. Be careful before applying it. Talked with some buddies around Texas and they had the same result. It would have been easier pulling the weeds out like I do every spring, with a claw hammer.

I expect to continue to use this product as my grass always looks as good or better than my neighbors', who use various yard services to maintain their lawns!

First time for me to use. I usually just keep on top of pulling the winter weeds and grasses. The question I had, was whether to water in or not. Could not find anywhere on the bag, but the video says to water in. Seems to be pertinent information and should be on the bag. Maybe I missed it. Can't wait to see if this helps. I applied end of January.

I have a relatively new yard, only two years old and crabgrass was a real problem last year. I have used Halts before at my other house with good results, hoping for the same thing here. What I really like is how even the product goes down (I use a drop spreader). Unlike other fertilizers I have used, I get a very consistent application which means no yellow strips in my yard. One week later, my yard is once again pretty and GREEN. Only negative is Halts with Fertilizer is a bit pricey.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used ALL of Scott's lawn fertilizer products at one time or another and still do to this day, depending on what the issue is. I highly recommend it! I can really tell when I haven't used it ! The lawn is not as lush, weeds coming out here and there and it just doesn't look as healthy. I tried one time to use something a little cheaper, but I went right back to Scotts if that tells you anything.

I follow the Scott's program religiously and find that the halts with crabgrass preventer is probably the most useful. The other products don't show the same results as this one. Probably more of just a ritual for me now to use the others.

I don't have a large yard but usually I can get my yard done in about an hour. The product is very easy to work. I have no complaints about this product only praise.

Not only did I save money, but using only Scotts products I had the greenest, best looking lawn on the block. Halts crabgrass preventer with lawn food was easy to use, knocked down the crabgrass and greened up my lawn nicely. Their app is pretty cool too.

This spring was my first time using halts crabgrass preventer. Like every scotts product I found it easy to use. I had a few spots with crabgrass last yr so I decided to apply halts this spring so I would be safe. We'll I have crabgrass everywhere now.most likely from last yr. Seeing I only applied it a month ago I will give it some time to see if it kills it off. I use scotts products only from soil to mulch never had a product not work like advertised. So time will tell
