Yes, I hold it with my right hand but it is also my "right hand" when it comes to daily cleaning. I keep one on my kichen sink and it is the thing I grab for all cleaning needs... no paper towels (which makes them green)... no dirty dish cloths... my Scotch Brite sponge is what I need! I have tried other brands, but Scotch Brite's hold up much better than any other no matter what I use them on... surfaces or dishes. I always keep extra's on hand because, even though they are durable and will last, I never want to be without one when it is time to replace.

I hate this product. The non-scratch scrub side is very stiff and non-compliant in your hand when scrubbing. The blue sponge side is worse. I use this sponge for washing dishes and the sponge begins to fall apart after about four uses. I am not using it vigorously as in the bathroom but on small loads of dishes twice a day. This means I am opening a new sponge about once every two weeks and that is not cost effective.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these sponges! They ARE scratch free but provide enough 'toughness' to remove dried-on food. The design allows the pointed corners to get into allll the little nooks and crannies. And they wash well, too, and do not retain bad smells.

I found the Scotch Brite Non Scratch Sponges in the grocery store and decided to try them; they are wonderful! They easily cleaned my pans without scratches. We've used these forever, but in the last few months, our sponge seems to take on a moldy or mildewy smell that leaves that smell on your hands. We haven't changed anything in terms of the soap we are using or how we let it dry between uses. Anyone else notice this recently?

I love most of the Scotch Brite products I have tried. They do what they say they will do, this one included. Most of my cookware is non-stick and needs the non-scratch cleaning so steel wool is out of the picture. This sponge does the job and doesn't scratch my pans. It also works great (different sponge) on my fiberglass tubs and I have used it to scrub my kitchen floors.

Scotch-Brite Non-Scratch Scrub Sponge is my true blue friend. Love the shape that fits my hand. Just a flip & you have a scrubbing surface, while the other side a softer sponge. Nice & sturdy, they last quite a while. I stick them in my dishwasher to sanitize & reuse many times.

Scotch Brite scrub sponges save time and energy. They allow a person the ease of using the sponge side for normal dishwashing while providing the scrubbing side for moderate to severe washing. I've found there are times when I use the scrub side even on extremely dirty dishes where foods seem to leave more of a film on dinner plates. This is a very useful product and means I don't have to have two, three or four different cleaning utensils on my countertop. Scotch Brite scrub sponges does it all!

The new sponges dry out very quickly yet when wet, they leave a very wet surface no matter hard hard the water is squeezed out. The zigzag shape does not work on any of my cleaning surfaces as my counters, appliances and more are not zigzag shaped. I do not recommend these sponges and will have to search elsewhere for sponges that actually work as they are intended to.
