We're glad you're a fan of your whiter smile, but are sorry hearing you've had sensitive teeth/gums after whitening. As with any teeth whitening product containing peroxide, when gel comes in contact with gums, it can cause temporary sensitivity or soreness. If this occurs, you should stop using the Whitestrips for a few days, until the gum irritation goes away. Start again after a few days by wearing only one upper and one lower strip a day. This should minimize future gum irritation. If irritation continues, we recommend that you stop use and consult your dentist.
