The waffle maker is easy to use and makes good waffles. It isn’t easy to clean as the plates are not removable and it can’t be immersed in water. I also burned the first waffle because the indicator light came on too late. I followed all the directions exactly. For the next 3 I made, I had to take the waffles out before the indicator light came on to signal they were done. I love the slim storage, though.

This waffle maker sucks. Slow to heat up, doesn't stay locked in place causing it to rotate and leak batter out all over the sides. Slower to cook than my presto maker it replaced. Maybe worth $15-20 for its flaws but a total joke at $45. You'll be happier with a budget alternative at half the cost.
