- 5 out of 5 stars review5/13/2023I purchased the iGen 4500c to replace a generator that was stolen. It is easy to set up out of the box. You just need to add oil (included), connect the battery, add gas, turn the fuel valve to on, turn the rocker switch on and press the start button. It is really quiet and is easy to maneuver with the telescoping handle.

I did give a change to Westinghouse to prove me wrong and they did. I bought iGen4500 not long ago for our trailler to run AC and othere aplliances in that. I test it with AC, Refrigirator and microwave on and iGen4500 can handle this no problem. Remote start make it even more convineance to use it.

Came with oil and spout which was easy to use and did not make a mess putting the oil in. All the parts were with the machine and setup was easy. Started easy and ran well- have not used it enough to comment on how it will power the things we need in a power outage. Seems well made and easy to move around. We were without power for a few days before we bought this and my wife is excited we have a backup generator now.

I spent many nights pouring over different generators from different manufacturers. After finding my homes power needs in case of a prolonged power outage `I found the Westinghouse 5000 Watt inverter generator fit my needs to a tee. After recieving and un-packing my generator today I was extremely happy with the quality of build and the materials used in building.The features are easy to access and to operate. All controls are well placed and clearly marked .The power receptacles are convently placed and well marked.

The easy push start key fob makes it even easier to start. The noise level was quieter then most generators I'm use to hearing. It is very fuel efficiency and can last over 20 hrs. I used this generator when the power goes out at my house. I am well pleased this product.

It was packaged well. It's easy to use and sooooooook much quieter then the old generator we have. It is small and compact, no bigger then an end table. It will fit almost anywhere. Has a decent run time. I believe we are going to be very very very happy with this one!!!

Make sure you read the quick start guide as well as the owners manual setup, they give different steps for the oil addition and oil fill access cover, the manual is correct. I'll try the generator tomorrow. I love my other 7000w generator, thus I bought another Westinghouse.

However, by the beginning of July and after the return time period was up, it can only handle either the washer, the ac or a tool like the table saw but definitely not two. It still runs quite but now we are back to using our old generator for most things other than the washing machine which requires a generator with sensitive power output. The oil is good, the air filter is good, there's nothing wrong with it starting, it would get an overload but not reset. It would just sit there not starting after it shut down trying to run the same three things it ran before, but now it overloads then dies. It will not reset or restart until…...

Oil and gas where easy to fill up, just making so it not over filled and now I'm off to the store to get some gas not enough.
