I bought this unit in April and just got a chance to open it to see how it worked. I was a little disappointed when it would not start. Customer service was helpful and sent a technical bulletin to show me how to get it running. They have a plug that comes undone during shipping. After watching youtube videos I found this is a common problem. I would recommend they put a lockable plug instead of one that will come off during shipping. I was able to fix it but when it is brand new I should not have to take it apart to get it running. other than that so far it seems to work well with the problem fixed.

Westinghouse was so anxious to get a review that they automatically triggered this review at the end of the Warranty Registration process. I have not put oil or gas in it yet. I’m currently reading the owner’s manual. I do like the large carrying handles the transport wheels and the extendable handle. At approximately 100 lbs we can carry it easily where the wheels won’t roll.

New purchase with travel trailer in mind but to cover home sump pumps etc in case of outtage. I read all materials then for to it. Followed step by step instructions (easy to follow). Start right up with simple remote start. Chose this generator based on other reviews for ease of use. I'm older with limited strength to deal with pull cord start. This model has pull start, push button and remote start via its own fob. Running through break in time, so far so good.

I received the generator and was up and running in no time. Just add the included oil and some gas. Connect the battery leads and push the start button!!! It started immediately. Very impressed with how quiet the unit is! The handle and wheels are very handy when moving the generator around. Looking forward to putting it to use!

I bought the Igen 4500 a little less than a month ago. I am extremely happy with the features and the performance of this machine. I had some questions about machine operations and I used the chat option to have my questions answered and it was quick and easy. I'm looking forward to a very rewarding summer on the road and having the option of staying in campgrounds that do not have electric.

Was just delivered today. Only took a few minutes to set up and started up right away. Got this due to having remote and push button start for my disabled wife. Love the remote. Only recommendation is maybe make the oil funnel threaded for the oil bottle also.

This is one of the best generators i have ever used. I use it with my travel trailer when we camp on the beach. it is super quiet so it doesn't annoy the neighbors and i love the remote on/off option. no more having to run outside! its so much easier to move than my original. My only complaint is that the label that has the serial number on it has completely eroded.

I bought this unit in March 2021, when I received the unit and seen the outside of box, I was just sure I had a broken or scuffed unit! Much to my surprise the unit was not even touched, all due to heavy foam packing protection, that did its Job . Zero defects. I looked the unit over , removed battery door and connected battery , it was a little bit of a chore to hook up plug as it’s just long enough to work. Big hands don’t help. Located oil fill area, by the way who ever designed the very nice plastic fill funnel that actually threads into the fill hole it’s a Rubber seal washer is a Genuis , no mess and it flat works, keeping this. Filled with oil supplies. Reinstall dipstick and always full. Removed fuel cap and and added about a quart of fuel..Turned unit on as well as Fuel , and hit starter button. Fired right up , like I just stopped it ? Great ! Test run everything worked . Fuel,showed,low, I shut off and filled the tank ! Restarts and gauge showed 21 hrs run time , pretty neat .After running for about five minutes hooked to RV, It actually has the 30 amp rv plug , no other adaptor needed . Win! Ran lights and etc! Five minutes , turned on 15 K ac , unit took the load right off, checked load , stated 25%, ok, so I turned on second 15k. Ac, boom checked stayed with load and showed 50 % duty , also each time I put load on time clocked followed with new run time,(Keep in mind that the temp when I did this is like 65 outside .) might change at 100 degrees . But I was very impressed , I ran it for about to hours , changing from one ac to normal lights and back to both Ac units . The Tow handle is a big plus .

I research this unit for about a month before I bought it came as advertised but after running RV for several hours started to trip breaker without anything else running in the RV not sure why it kept tripping even after we just unplugged some things it would still trip but after leaving shut off for a few hours seemed to run fine again will try one more time before calling Tech Support

I’ve been shopping for an InGen for about a year. This one was available at the right price with right feature. I wanted a gen that could power my Rv AC or my refrigerator and freezer at home (power outages) . This one fits the bill with a large gas tank, wheels, 20 amp output and digital readout.
