I bought this in March prepping for camping season. Have used it now a half dozen times and it is excellent. Quietest one in the camp ground. It can be heavy to lift in and out of a truck. Telescoping handle works really well to move it around. All in all definitely a great buy.

Purchased to replace an old, very heavy and loud generator. Ease of operation of the iGen4500 is awesome. It is so much quieter. Perfect for use in the city. Electric start and remote start options are wonderful. I a very happy with this generator.

Got this at the end of the WuHon virus nonsense and it's been working great. I got a model dated 2019 and looks like all complaints have been addressed like the 30amp socket is facing the correct way, no issues with choke, the data display looks like it's a bit different than I've seen in other reviews. The display I have you have to manually switch between the different readouts, butnin other videos it looks like the data readout just cycles through them automatically. This is not a big deal to me. Frankly I'll probably just keep it on fuel remaining hours for the most part.

Bought new - would not start out of the box. Had to remove covers, adjust choke, charge battery...not difficult, just a pain. Service access sucks. Why is the access panel to the carb, choke, throttle screwed on? Should be an quick release panel - especially with the starting issues.

I bought this for home power backup. Living along the Gulf Coast during hurricane season, you need to be self sufficient as we are subject to power outages. This generator will carry the load to allow us to maintain the basics of survival. The ease of operating will allow any of us to operate and maintain the generator. As with all equipment there are improvements that you would like to see but from an overall perspective this is a fine machine.

We have been in the market a while for a quiet inverter generator that can run all the systems in our RV. We had sticker shock at the Honda generators and other males and stumbled on the Westinghouse item 4500. Good reviews lots of power for a fraction of the cost. We decided to try and are very pleased with the product. Comes fully assembled even the battery many makes don't do that. Took 5 minutes to fill oil, supplied with a funnel and fuel. Started right up and I'm amazed how quiet, walked 15 feet away and couldnt hear it. This was a no brainer. One other thing for my fellow Californians, one of the few CARB compliant generators.

Just received a few days ago and very happy so far. Charged the battery for a few hours with the included charging cord, poured the oil and fuel in and it fired right up. Let it run for a while to gently break it in and ran great with no issues. Pretty quiet for a generator, also.

This is the wrong generator. Mine wasn't listed in the drop down box. I bought the WH2200iXLT and it works great. Starts by the second pull and runs for hours. I put it to the test for two weeks in the upper peninsula of Michigan. I had to charge deep cycle batteries to run my biPAP machine and even used it for a toaster. Also, ran some lights while the batteries were charging. Never any problem.

I just got this today through FedEx and I am so excited. I added oil, connected the battery, and added gasoline. I slowly pulled the starting cord just to get the oil moving around before I actually started the generator. After that I turned it on and used the remote start to start the generator and wow!! It immediately fired up and was soooo quiet it surprised me. I’ve read a ton of reviews on many inverter generators and this seemed to be the best for the wattage output. I can not wait to hook it to our camper this weekend. I am beyond excited about this generator, it seems very well built and I haven’t seen one blemish on it yet so far like some have seen when they unboxed it. I’m impressed so far and so are the kids and wife lol.

Fathers day trip. Set up camper as if off grid (had fathers house as reserve). Wife ran air conditioner ALL THE TIME. Unit ran 24 hours a day. Only cut it off to add gas. Then she was quick to start it from the camper remotely. Had no problems the whole 4 days we were there. Next time we both go out (boon docking) I'll Bring two 5 gal gas cans so I don't have to stress about making sure I have gas. All in all, I am very pleased with this unit. She ran everything she needed to while we were there. Now she has no excuse NOT to go off grid with me.
