It works

Happy w/easy start.hope has long life after being dropped to many times along the way.anitially I would have sent back because of Freind suggested see if it works I'll try.

got it today, but no start

got it today, oiled it, gassed it, plugged battery cables in and no start......battery is on the charger now as the pull rope is stronger than I. I have the i2250 and it started right up, I'm hoping this is just an idle and discharged battery.

remote control

very hard to get to the drain plug. the door cover to the oil is to small. make it bigger to access the drain plug. there is no diagram or mention of drain plug in the owners manual . love the remote control. reason why I bought this gen.

Hi butchman, Thanks for sharing your feedback. You may refer to page 16 in your Owner's Manual to read more about adding/changing your engine oil with access to the oil drain plug. Figure 12 will show you a diagram of the oil drain bolt and rubber oil plug. Hopefully that has helpful for you! Otherwise, we're glad to hear you're enjoying the remote start on the iGen4500. Seems well built

Just got the igen 4500 put oil in and gas fired right up runs smooth an quiet haven't hooked anything to it but seems like it should be a great unit for the price

Back for residence

I shopped extensively for a quiet , economical inverter that would "powerful enough" to provide essential power to the residence. Impressed with the Westinghouse iGEN series and invested in a iGEN4500

Doing review for power cord

I removed from box. It was in good condition. It does work but I haven't needed to use for an extended period so I'm giving a middle of the line rating.

Great features

But my battery will not charge I've used it 3 times, I got it for the remote start, but that lasted 1 time because of the battery not charging I would like a new battery something for the price.
