I bought this after going through a hurricane with a smaller and louder generator. I wanted something with more power and that wouldn't rattle the house or keep me awake all night. This is the perfect generator for a single guy. Ran 1 fridge, 1 freezer, 2 A/C units, and entertainment needs without an issue.

Received my new iGen4500 in perfect condition in a short amount of time. Came with great start up instructions and operating overview. I have many friends that have the same inverter and they have nothing but good things to say about it. Can't wait to hook it up to my RV!

This generator was packed quite well for shipping and all included parts were in the box as they should be. The fit and finish and quality of the product is evident. I researched quite a few reviews before buying this product and am happy i did so for use on my boat. Hope to enjoy it this spring and summer boating season. Good choice.

This unit arrived last week. The instructions were helpful, but the online reviews that I read before ordering were even better. Like, do NOT put the entire bottle of oil in the unit as it will have a bit in it already. Started right up and ran good. The hardest part of everything was finding the serial number because the decal was low enough that it couldn't be seen until picking up the unit. Very quite, smooth running and I hope I don't need it for hurricane season, but if I do, I believe I can count on it to be a great help.

I decided I need an updated generator and after spending time looking through the myriad options locally and online, I landed on this one and I'm glad I did! Easy instructions to follow and with a simple push of a button, my new generator was cranking up with no effort! I love that this thing is not deafening and I won't have to worry about neighbors thinking it's too loud when operating. It's easy to move around with the built in wheels with pull handle built in. I have already used it in a few mobile situations and everyone loved it and I'll be in a much stronger position during longer than normal power outages in the future from hurricanes.

Was a breeze to get started with zero hiccups. Smooth running. Neighbor wanted to know more about it and said how quiet it was. When I first added a heavy load it said it was being overloaded so I lowered the load and allowed the generator to run for a while. When I added the bigger load back the generator handled it well. This generator sips the fuel instead of gulping like the others I have used which means less trips to get fuel and less fuel cost to run. I wanted a inverter to be able to power electronic devices. I can power a 8,000 BTU A/C, a large refrigerator and large freezer as well as a few electronic devices and lights. If I need more power I'll purchase another Westinghouse inverter generator that will hook up in parallel with my igen4500.

Bought this unit to run our trailer and it worked perfectly for our requirements. Unit is so quiet we were standing next to it and was talking normally without raising our voices. Nice to know if we need more power we can purchase another unit and parallel connect for that requirement.

Connected this through an interlock kit into the whole house. Runs everything. Although needed to grab some power from the regular outlets to capture the whole 4500 peak. I run the refrigerator off of that set of outlets and the RV plug goes into the power panel. I created my own cable to split the single hot lead into two that go to both hots in a L14-30 then to a double 30 amp breaker which then powers both legs of the panel. You can't get 240 of course, but you can use all 120 circuits that way. Get an interlock kit or use a cutover panel; only safe way to ensure you don't energize the main utility grid and kill a lineman.

Like to research just about any big purchases in my life, and certainly did that with this generator. It seemed to hit all of the marks that I was looking for. Bought a new camper that required a bigger generator and this one hasn’t let me down yet. My initial run with this generator was 24 hours a day for five days consecutively. It never hesitated, it started every time after fueling, and so far this thing has lived up to my reviews.

This generator has features and power output better and higher than any other in its class. The problem is that if u get one where everything works as it should, you're lucky. My first one, the remote didn't work, the start stop button didn't work. I was only able to get it started only by the pull starter. Once i got it started the choke wouldn't shut off. Retuned that one and ordered another. On the second, the remote start would work, but using the remote stop would shut it down where it would immediately restart. And it only operates in economy mode, the switch has no effect. So,I pulled all the panels off and disconnected and reconnected every connector I could find. That fixed the remote stop but I still cannot take it out of economy mode. I can live with that until I call their support. Bummer they're out of covers for the bonus gift. So, 5 stars for features and 3 stars for them having a hard time delivering one without problems.
