Just fired the new IGen4500 up today. I don’t have a lot of experience with generators. It was easy to set up. The directions did say to use all the oil it comes with. That made it overflow I little. Started up on the first push of the button, and never stopped purring. The remote worked first push also. We were really surprised at how quiet it ran. Conversation right next to it was easy.

This generator was packed quite well for shipping and all included parts were in the box as they should be. The fit and finish and quality of the product is evident. I researched quite a few reviews before buying this product and am happy i did so for use on my boat. Hope to enjoy it this spring and summer boating season. Good choice.

Very impressed with this generator. It is quiet and easy to start with just the press of a button. I never knew how much I would like the remote start until I was working on the second floor and this feature saved me countless trips up and down stairs. The efficiency mode is great at saving gas and will probably even extend the life of the unit.

Followed easy instructions to prepare the Gen for it's first run. New battery connection made it even easier, oil, gas, and pushed the magic button and it fired right up. Ran for an hour on both eco and standard with no load for initial break in. Overall very quiet, easy to move around with the wheels and am excited to take it camping!

I just received the iGEN4500, it was packed very well, included everything I needed except gas. Unpacked it oiled and gassed it up, hooked up the battery, turned on the battery switch, pushed the start button and it fired right up. I knew it would be quiet but, it was much quieter than my wife and I thought it would be. Can’t wait to do some dry camping in our 5th wheel. I’m certain it will run our trailer just fine. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is I haven’t put it to a real test yet.

I bought this to power my 30-amp camper when the AC is running. It fully powers the whole camper electrics - even better than city electricity because it doesn't fluctuate much in voltage (although I still use the voltage regulator like I do at a camp site). The control panel is easy to learn, easy to use. I really like the "ready" light which tells me when to power up the camper. I load/unload it from my truck bed via a ramp. The "suitcase" handle" makes it way easy to tote around.

I was worried after the many reviews, but this is a great generator. After the breaking process, I took this to my hunting camp. For 48 hours this little giant was a power horse. -Very quiet -Fuel consumption - one fuel tank lasted 21 hours with heater, microwave, and trailer usage. -Easy to transport ( I could load this in my truck be myself unlike my old one) I did install an hours meter on before using the machine.

Bought this recently and am very satisfied with it. Although I cannot comment on longevity, I see no reason why it wouldn't last for years with regular usage if maintained well. It is VERY quiet. Preparation for first time usage is simple. Instructions in operators manual are very fragmented with an overkill of warnings about "don't do this or you may die" but if you are able to read thru this, all of the important information is there. Instructions for first time use include adding .6 L (the total capacity of engine oil) of 10w-30 motor oil. The oil provided is in a .6 L bottle and instructions say to pour entire bottle into oil fill reservoir. Makes sense, except when I did this, it over-filled the reservoir a bit and oil overflowed, which I had to quickly take care of. I'm assuming this is because of residual oil used for testing at the factory that was not entirely drained before shipping. Also, the serial number of this machine is nowhere to be found ON THE MACHINE. It is a sticker on the outside of the box. I spent some time searching for this by removing panels off the machine only to find nothing, and to resort to searching the website for "location of serial number". Overall - GREAT generator and I'd buy again. Highly recommended.

This generator works fine after it's started, but starting right now is a pain. The electronic choke has not worked since new and it doesn't appear that anything came unplugged as in the service advisory I'll be taking it in for service under warranty shortly and am hoping that will fix the problem. Also it's not quite as quiet as I hoped it would be, my igen2200 seems quieter even though they are rated the same.
