I bought this to replace a Hyundai 2200w inverter that had become extremely temperamental over the years, and I'm very glad I made the purchase. Starts very easily, runs quiet and is very reasonable on gas. I'm also happy to be able to lift and move it by myself, which is not something I can do with my Honda which is similarly rated. The electric start works great and is a super nice feature, too! We'll see how time treats this guy, but so far, so good!

Bought it a month and 1 day ago. No surprises, was my 2nd generator. Use it to power my RV. it is compact and easy to move with the grab handles and the retractable pull arm. love the options to start it: pull cord, button on the unit and FOB. would recommend this to anyone.

Just bought this a few days ago from a big box home store. I’m giving it 4 stars based on initial inspection and only a few hours of use. If it continues to run like it has been, in six months I’ll upgrade my rating to 5 stars. Unboxing was uneventful, units fit and finish were good, plenty of useful data placarded on the exterior to help guide you through simple procedures. Unit came with 600 ml bottle of oil and a very handy funnel to add or change engine oil. I added the entire contents of the bottle, filled the gas tank and connected the starting battery. Two pushes of the start button had the genny idling smoothly. After an hour of running with a very light load I connected the genny to my rv and ran the air conditioner, a 15k AC. The generator had no problems changing to the higher load and didn’t miss a beat. I checked the remote fob and it operated correctly. At this point the only question I have is that the manual identifies four different displays on the data center but on my generator the data center has five possible displays. I’m assuming the fifth display is total run time. If not I’ve already ordered a digital hour meter that will count run time. If this generator continues to start, run and meet my electrical load demands then I’ll consider this money well spent.

This is my second i4500 generator, bought the first one a couple years ago for my travel trailer and I have had no issues! Bought a 5th wheel trailer a couple months ago and need 50 amp service so the cheapest route was to buy another i4500 and the paralleling cable! Works great! Great generators for the money!

So far after getting it ready to start the pool starts fine. Took two poles electric start/remote start doesn’t start hoping it’s just a low battery so I’m charging the battery overnight then we’ll see from there supposed to be an outrageous product. Did a lot of research hoping I don’t have any problems.

From the time I took it out of the box to running it to keep our coach powereed up for 1 week in Glamis CA it has not failed to provide all the power required for our motorhome. We ran the residential refrigerator, lights, and air conditioner and it handled everything. The wireless remote for starting it in the morning (to get the coffee maker running) without getting out of bed works great! I highly recommend this generator.

Bought primarily for RV power in primitive camps. Will do a good job of running AC appliances and keeping battery charged. May get a second one to parallel power to house in case of outage. Well pleased with it. One suggestion: Owner manual says to siphon fuel from tank. Should also mention that there is a screen cup in filler neck that will have to be removed before tube can be inserted. Most people probably figure this out but a heads-up about this would be helpful. My model not listed in drop down box. It is a 2200ixlt

We purchased this just before Beryl hit the Houston area. We had borrowed an older open frame generator with the same output, which was our only experience with generators. This generator is so much more quiet! We couldn’t even tell that it was running from inside our house with the windows open. It was very easy to set up and get running with the push button start (and it also has a remote control start). It’s very helpful that it has a display that shows current usage so you know how much more you can add to the load. We plugged in lots of fans, charged basic electronics, a refrigerator, and lights, and we were only using half the load capacity. We also bought this particular generator knowing if we needed to increase our generator output, we can buy an identical one, connect them, and run them parallel to double output. Very happy so far with our purchase!

i bought this almost 2 months ago and am very happy with it. i have read comments from people on camping sites that their generator would not run their az and even just the microwave at the same time. this unit ran my ac, tv, dvd player, all lights, and the microwave at the same time. excellent inverter generator.

Purchased recently and am very happy with how quiet and easily it is to operate. Push button start and remote start feature helps to not have to leave RV to start our generator. It also has a large gasoline tank and allows to run all night! I love the extended pull for ease of movement!
