I ve historically used Tervis water bottles which only have a pour spout and I was looking for something with a straw. I came across Owala and it gave the best of both worlds. At first I wasn t sure how the straw would function with their different design but I can now say it s amazing! I love that I can drink from the straw or spout easily. I also love the straw is covered as I am a healthcare worker and worry about contamination while in the hospital. I recommended this water bottle to all of my friends and bought one for my husband who prefers this to his hydro flask!

This is literally the best water bottle I've ever owned. Having an internal straw is so helpful. It keeps my beverages cold for 12+ hours, and keeps my ice frozen longer so I can refill and still have cold water. I have bought two more for my children, and I've gotten my mom, sister, and niece hooked. We're huge fans of them. My only wish is that we could buy replacement straws, not that I need one, but I'd like to have a backup. Also, I know this sounds crazy, but I'd love an even bigger size.

I have a collection of insulated bottles and I like them because it keeps beverage cold for a day or more but the design is a lot less desired. Enter the from Owala. I have to say that the design is well thought out. First is having the option to either sip or chug. Most water bottles with a built in straw is very difficult to drink from. In order to be able to drink using a straw from an enclosed system, you need a hole to allow air to enter the bottle and thus be able to take a sip. Unfortunately these water bottles have only a pinhead-sized hole which gets occluded with the fluid from the beverage. The only way to sip effectively is to twist the lid open. With the Owala , the chug opening is so huge that there is no force required to take a sip using the straw. That is what makes the straw work effectively. And if you're really thirsty, you can chug it down as the other option. Second, is the built-in handle. It makes holding the bottle more comfortable without having to always grip the bottle or cradle it or tuck it in your arms. Third... you can put carbonated beverages contrary to what Owala says on their website. The only suggestion is to slightly twist the lid open to allow the excess carbonation to escape so that the beverage doesn't overflow from the straw. Otherwise it works! I use my to drink my homemade seltzer from. If there is anything that I would request is for the company to make bigger capacity bottles. I drink a lot and the 32 oz capacity is small especially considering that you add ice. This is coming from someone who uses an 84 oz bottle on a regular day. Also I would like for Owala to make silicone sleeves for the bottles so that the paint doesn't get scratched. Otherwise, I have to say that Owala is the best insulated water bottle in the market. And thank you for giving nurses a discount. Because of that, I bought every single color option you had!

I love the . Its the best bottle I've found for being able to take big gulps of water without having to unscrew the lid. A couple of things that would make it better would be a better carrying loop and sometimes its hard to get the fliptop to open. I'd like to be able to add a bottle strap to make it easier to carry, but I don't know if the common ones will fit on this bottle top without causing it to leak. I also find the button to open the flip top can take a few tries, but I'm a bit older and don't have as much strength in my thumbs. These things consdered, I really love the idea and it is helping me drink more water. There are times when I question whether I actually filled the bottle since I've gone through 32 ounces so quickly!

I was able to get a free one for the one year giveaway & let me just say that I love it!!! The ice last in it, when I forget it in the office the next day there will still be ice and cold water. Having this in the AZ weather has been a life saver. I have ordered one for my husband since he loved mine. TOTALLY WORTH IT!!!

I got 4 bottles for myself, my spouse and my two little boys. We each have a different color, and so we're decreasing germ spreading and our drinks are kept cold all day long! I am very pleased with these bottles and would definitely order more in the future!

There was a lot of thought that went into the design of the Owala water bottle! The mouth opening and straw are designed to contour to the shape of your mout perfectly! I also love the shape of the bottle because it make it easier to hold, especially when the bottle is full! This bottle actually makes me want to drink water. It also keeps my drinks cold for a very long time! This is the best water bottle I have ever had. You will not be disappointed in this purchase! I will be buying more in the future:)

Honestly, this is seriously the best water bottle I have ever had. I love the straw feature, as well as being able to pour it to get that last drop. I dont have a fear of it spilling or leaking so I always have my bottle in my bed when i am thirsty at night. I am so excited and pleased with this purchase! Thank you!

I love this water bottle!!! I've tried all different types and brands and there is only one that beats it as far as keeping things cold for a super long time, but nothing beats the built in straw/mouth with the pop-open lid. My husband made fun of me until he "borrowed" the 32-oz one I ordered and now refuses to give it back. I plan on ordering more as gifts!

This thing has been the bane of my existence. Got it for its portability, ability to keep water cold for hours, and it s straw feature which comes in handy since I drive a lot for work. Since getting it, I have drank at least a gallon of water a day. It s ridiculous and causes frequent restroom breaks. As for its intended purpose and functions its terrific! For causing an increase of restroom breaks because of the crazy amounts of water drank, terrible hahaha.
