Had problems breathing, eyes itched, migraines nonstop. Finally went to an ears, nose, throat specialist and was diagnosed with numerous severe allergies. Started on medication but it was not doing the full job. We saw these filters and decided to try them. What a difference! I could not believe how dirty the filter was. The first time we replaced it after the three months which is recommended. We changed it monthly for three months following that than every two months for the next 3 changes. Each month it became a bit less dirty. We could not be happier with the cleaner air!

Bought this a month ago after having my unit replaced. I was suffering with severe allergies due to the ductwork and unit being replaced by a very sloppy company, so I decided to give it a shot (it had its work cut out for it) I am replacing it today. Usually lasts a lot longer but my home was contaminated severely due to the negligence of our ac repair company!

I just replaced my Filtrete filter with this 1200 series. You can see the dirt and debris that collects on the filter after three months so you know its working. I just can't imagine my family breathing in that junk. Filtrete filters are the only brand I buy because they are economical and for piece of mind.

We live in the country, own a feedlot, have 3 kids and have 3 dogs. Needless to say, there is a lot of stuff in our air. My husband and 2 of our kids have respiratory issues. These filters have done a great job of keeping our system as clean as possible in this environment.

I was using the regular version of filters and they worked but weren't the best for our house. I switched to the healthy living ultra allergy filters and they have helped so much! We have purchased a new home in Washougal, Washington. The home inspection revealed very dirty filters in each of two furnaces. We have specified Filtrete furnace filters to replace the very dirty generic filters as part of the purchase agreement because we have used them exclusively in our current home for about seven years. They seem to help with our allergies! 3M makes great products including your Blue masking tape and air filtration face masks which we have used when mowing the lawn!

The Filtrete 1550 Allergy Reduction filter does a remarkable job in filtering out the seasonal mountain allergens that blow into our North Central TX home. We use fewer antihistamines since we have installed the high efficiency filters. Thank you, 3M.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had an electronic filter system that i removed because stopped functioning and replaced with what is easier to maintain .I don not have to wash the filter using any chemicals and is safer for the environment within the house.

I am asthmatic so CLEAN AIR is not a low end necessity for me - it is a HIGH END necessity. I am very happy with my indoor air quality and knowing that I am able to stay healthier with cleaner air is double payback. I share with all people I come in contact with that what type of house air filter you use to clean your air DOES matter.

After my electronic air filter system failed, I decided to to try the Filtrete Air Filter. (1550, 4"). I have been using it for the last four years. It seems to work every bit as as well as the expensive electronic system. I thought we would notice more dust in the house, but that is not the case!!
