This fruitcake is solid full of nuts and fruit with just enough batter to hold it together, just the perfect blend.

This is the best fruit cake that I have had form a store brand. Very moist, I only wish it was sliced.it is hard to cut evenly.

I first two 'loaves' were good... but noticed the rest of the contents were lacking in 'candied fruit', all but two had too many raisins and walnuts which lessened the flavor of fruitcake.

Good fruitcake is hard to find. I like Claxton's for the taste, freshness and cost. There are many expensive fruitcakes that I can't afford and they may have a richer flavor but I don't think so.

Ive bought this fruitcake every years for the last 5-10 years. This is the first year we have been disappointed in the cake. Very dry and not as many nuts and fruits as in the past.

Great door stop-I cut a small chunk off periodically, then use one for holiday food drives-who says a family in need doesn't also need a solid door stop after a good holiday laugh :)
