Taste Great. Real Fruit, Didn't have these cakes in my store this year, so had to order them, Only a couple of days to get them from FedX, Fresh, and tasty.. What more can one say?

was very good... like I remembered a fruit cake tasting; hadn't had one for a very long time so it satisfied my sweet tooth! Even my husband who claimed he didn't like fruit cake, dove right into it and was gone too soon!

I buy them every year because I actually like fruit cakes. The fruit cakes this year do not seem to be as good as before. Still have plenty of candied fruits and nuts but the taste is slightly off.

Best Ever Fruit Cake

The product was very dry I have purchased this product in the past for Sam's it was moist and a good product. I contacted Claxton about it and they told me basically it was a problem with their baking process. I know it's not Sam's fault but I will not be purchasing this product again.

Claxton Fruitcake has ben around our Christmas table for generations. Almay moist: always flavor filled. My grandmother made fruitcakes from scratch. Are these as good as hers? No. But, when granny wanted fruit cake and didn't want to take the time to make one; this was her go to. All other brands were shunned. I talk with people who quickly tell "I don't like fruit cake". This is almost always a reference to some sit-com or stand-up comedian's slur about the beloved dessert. When I can, I take that person aside and give them a chunk of this (don't bother with tiny slices, you'll tire yourself out going back for more) and what the expressions on their face. Their look will go through several metamorphoses ending in a smile. Trust me... old, unopened packages of fruit cake may be the only thing left on the planet when Armagadon comes; none of it will be Claxtons".
