claxton fruitcakes have been bought in my family at Christmas time for over 50 years. the taste has changed and i think the texture is too soft. they used to put Mincemeat in them and lots of nuts. the taste is not good anymore.

Time for the Whole Foods industry make a change. The consumers want just a fruit cake, not this list of rare ingredients and even a stone inside of the cake, that almost brake my teeth. Please check your ingredients for the next year. Thanks.

Since gifting my mother-in-law with one several years ago, and then having her request one the next year (after Sam’s was sold out), it has become a tradition. And I know to buy it as soon as I see it. My husband and I both love it, too.

This is a product that I wait for each year! It arrived fresh and on time. It is a great way to enjoy this product during the holidays without leaving home. I will do it again next year for sure!

Just the right amount of cake to fruit ratio. Claxton always fresh and tastes wonderful. It wouldn’t be Christmas at our house without Claxton fruitcake.

Claxton Fruit Cake used to be sold in my club around the holidays except for the last 2-3 years. I was so happy to find that they are sold at Sams Club online since they are still not available in the club. Still delicious as ever!

It askes if I recommend these, Yes I do but like the old joke most people don't like it but I have tried anyway because I love them. Good texture and value. I have even adulted 2 of them by wrapping in adult drinking cheese cloth. They are also great for taking as delicious white elephant gifts. The consistency is great even after freezing and thawing. Diet? What diet. It's for the holiday season although I have ordered these during the summer also.

This is equal or better than the beat fruit cake on the market. The balance between fruit and nuts is perfect; the tendency to overdo the nuts makes good advertising copy in print, but this does wonders inside your mouth. And don’t worry, they didn’t overdo the dough, they got it right.

They must admit that one of my favorite things about the holidays is that this fruitcake is available for purchase. Although the loaves are smaller than last year, they are still moist and delicious. Each loaf is filled with a variety of fruit like pineapple and green cherries, and lots of nuts! If you enjoy fruit cake, you will not be disappointed.
