I'm only rating this cot 4 stars because I just received it and my grandchildren have used for only a weekend. It is pictured as it is. Will be very convenient for vacations and camping trips. Seems very sturdy. My grandchildren are 5 and 3 between 24 and 42 pounds. I checked on them periodically thru the night and they appeared to be very comfortable. And both should be able to use it for some time. I wouldn't recommend it for permanent sleeping, but a week on vacation it's perfect.

This is a great product! Super easy to set up/clean and store away!! There is one little thing that has caused a small problem...there is a center support strap that goes across where the child sleeps. It's tighter than the bed of the cot, so it hits my 5 year old daughter right in the middle of the back causing a hump. As long as I use a cushion/pad, it's fine, but for her to sleep on it by itself, it wouldn't be that comfy. My son (who is three) hasn't complained because it hits him in his leg area where it wouldn't really matter...so, the longer/taller the child, the more this strap would/could create an issue.

I purchased this for my 18 month old for a camping trip. I was nervous becasue there are no sides. He tosses and turns a lot in his sleep, but he seemed to stay relatively still while sleeping in it. It does surround him a little while he is laying in it. The center is slightly higher, but it didn't bother him at all. I am considering getting a second for my 5 yr old. It folds down to about the same dimensions as a small childs camp chair, so it takes up very little space for traveling.

We bought this because we were going to travel a lot. I didn't want them sleeping on the ground..so this is a good alternative to that. However, there is a strap that runs down the middle that is really uncomfortable! Poor, poor design. But we seemed to have "broken" it in. They slept in the cots for about one week before we left and it seems to have helped. Initially, they complained, but over time, it got better. They actually preferred to sleep in the cot over their own bed. This is a great alternative to pack n play - the cots are SO much lighter to carry, they easily fit into our suitcase, and the setup is a breeze!

Bought this cot after a recommendation from my sister who uses it with her 3yr old son. Very glad I purchased this! The material feels like a camping chair, but comes with a "sheet" that fits over the bed. It has it's own carrying case (again similar to a camping chair), but the size is about half and only weighs a few pounds. It is perfect for a small child. I recently took this on a trip, packed it in our suitcases (and checked it) on a flight. It didn't take up much room and was light. Easy to set-up, brought a sheet and blanket from home for my 2yr old. She LOVES her travel bed. She tells us about "my travel bed" and always wants to sleep on it. It's low to the ground, so if your toddler is a mover in their sleep like mine (who fell of it in her sleep), they won't get hurt. This is so much lighter than a pack n' play - and perfect for long trips or overnight stays with the grandparents (like we used it this past weekend). I loved not having to check it separately on our flight, just put it in our suitcase and it was easy! I would recommend this for a toddler bed to anyone, especially at the price!

I bought this for my 15 month old nephew to use at my house while his parents were out of town (he's in a toddler bed at home). It's super easy to setup - just like a bag chair. It's very low to the floor so he could easily climb in and out at his leisure - with no worries about falling for me! It's not quite as soft as I would like but I just put a sleeping bag on top and covered all with a standard crib sheet. He loves it! I've actually sold it to my sister for him to use for grandparent visits, too. I will buy another as my own son gets big enough to use it as well.

I received this today, set it up for my 2 year old who is 32 pounds, 35 inches, I put a toddler sleeping bag on it, she loves this thing!!! There is no bar in her back, no strap across the bottom, so based on the other reviews, they must have re-made these. I had been pondering over this for some time (about 4-5 months), read all the reviews and was unsure. I went ahead and ordered it anyways, because it's not like I could not return the item. For $25 bucks this works GREAT. She has been laying on it since and kept saying "thank you mommy!". It will work PERFECT for out of town trips, or even just day trips somewhere if she needs a nap. She could care less its not like a "mattress" and people who say it needs extra padding, well I don't think she cares either way. It's better then the FLOOR, RIGHT? I happen to love this thing :) And as someone who was skeptical on ordering it and thought about it for months, I say go for it :) You can either return it or sell it to someone else, for $25, why complain? ;)

My grandson sleeps over and used the guest room, but would wake up in the middle of the night. I saw this toddler cot and it was perfect to bring him closer so he could still feel like a big boy. Love that it is the perfect size, easy to set up and put away. We put the guest room pillows on the cot (it takes three) as cushioning for the bed and he sleeps just fine. Bed comes with its own fitted sheet and carry case. Haven't use the sheet yet and it is so convenient to store.

I know you will laugh but I purchased this cot for my english bulldog. Its perfect, just off the floor, just the right size. All I did was open it up I put a clean dog blanket on the bed and she went right to it. Other off-the-floor dog beds of this size sell for seventy toeighty dollars. This bed seems to be made of durable material and it is just what I needed for my elderly bulldog. You should not market this just as a childs bed, it is a great and inexpensive dog bed. Thanks

My daughter gets attached to people sleeping with her when we travel and then we have all types of problems when we go home so we needed a personal bed/cot for her for travel. I know one of the reviews talked about a bar across the middle of this cot and I was concerned about that at first. But when I bought it I saw that it was just a strap and my daughter doesn't seem to mind it. she loves to travel just so she can sleep on her pink bed. We like it a lot!
