I think this product is great for a small child under I would say no older than 6. My granddaughter who is 3 has plenty of room for sleeping. My only one problem is the legs do not lock open. It is the child's weight that holds it straight. Having legs that whould snap lock open would be very nice. It is so handy, when I am done, fold it up, but it back in the storage bag it comes in and slide it under my bed.

This is perfect for my 3 yr niece that sleeps over regularly. We do not have the space to set up an extra bed so this is the perfect solution. It is easy to set up and easy to fold up. I like that it holds up to 75 pounds so she'll be able to use it for awhile. The other thing I really like is that it is also economical, costing only $25. If the padded cover was a bit thicker I would give it 5 stars. I put a thick folded blanket on top for her to lay on.

My daughter enjoyed having her very own "bed" while on vacation or at our family cabins! She is only 20 months old, and is used to cots at daycare, so she has no problems sleeping on this cot! Highly recommend this to everyone who vacations as much as we do!

We purchased this travel bed for our 2 year old son. We brought it up to our cabin for the week. Needless to say by the end of the week he wasn't having it anymore. We think if the bed had somewhat more of a mattress thickness, he wouldve been more comfortable. But it sure is a great purchase for the money and a fabulous "overnight" bed! He had a friend sleep over as well. It was easy to set up, perfect for one night and cheap!

I was pleasantly surprised that this cot was well made, sturdy and easy to set up for the price. I bought it for my grandchildren when they visit and needed something compact for the space I have available when set up and also easily folded away for storage. This item surpassed my expectations on all counts, even though I was skeptical at the low price. Well worth the money!

I purchased one of these cots for grandchildren to take a nap in... wherever. It is FANTASTIC & I will be purchasing 2 more, because they ALL want to sleep on it :) We travel a lot & it is so easy to set up & take down. Our 8 yr old grandchild seemed a bit tall for it, but he sleeps on it sort of curled up & prefers it.. to his own bed, then the 6 yr old & the 2 yr old! We love it! We have used it in the house, RV, Hotel & on the patio! LOVE LOVE LOVE it!

I purchased this for my aging 60 pound dog who is now having problems with getting on the couch or bed. This item is a wonderful dog bed and less expensive then a dog cot. I highly recommend this item. Its probably great for children as well I just don't have any to try it out.

Bought for our daughter to use when grandparents came to town, as her bed transformed to King for them to use. Cot fit well at the end of our bed. I did add extra padding, foam padding under the provided fitted sheet. Folds easily. And held up well. Daughter loved the color

The cot is extremely simple to put together and quick to fold up. You will need to use a sleeping bag or blanket with this cot. I placed a nap mat on it and it fits perfectly size wise. The nap mat measured 50"L x 20"W. I also used a nap mat that came w/pillow & blanket. The size of the cot makes it perfect for children sleeping in small spaces. It definitely does not take up much room. There was no bar in the middle like some reviews may state. The bed is sturdy & low to the ground. I would not purchase this cot for children over the age of 5. My 8 year old child tried it and her feet did hang out the cot. If she was lying on her side she was fine. Weight wise it was fine holding her. My 3 year old will definitely be using this cot on vacations for the next few years

What more can be said other than this is a great little bed. Easy to setup, and my 4 year old loved sleeping on it. And super simple to pack up. This was a great value in my eyes, and I'm sure when we pass it on it will serve someone else just as well.
