Okay, but maybe not as a bed

My 3ry old daughter loves this cot. She loves to sit on it and watch tv but isn't that keen on sleeping on it. I bought it to take on vacations with us so she'll have her own bed. It has a strap in the middle underneath it and it makes the middle stick up higher than the rest of the bed. I took out the middle strap and am now in the process of stretching the material so it's more comfortable for her. I have to be careful, if I stretch it out to much, she' will be hitting the metal bars that are not too far underneath. I figured for $25, it was worth playing with so I've been padding it with small blankets it to see if I could get it to work.

Excellent!! Multiple uses!

I bought this product for my 3 year old daughter for use on our family vacation. Since purchased, we have used this cot for everything; sleepovers, outside play, nap-time and when I babysit my nephew he sleeps on it too! This is the best purchase I've made in terms of toddler gear. We even sat the younger kids on it while watch the Fourth of July fireworks!! They loved it then and we love it now!! Awesome product!!!

Worth a chance

I purchased this cot for use at my mothers for my 2 year to nap on while I was at work. I just recently went back and my mother's home does not have the space available to store a toddler bed so I needed something compact. This works perfect for that need. It folds up and takes up as much space as a lawn chair. I don't know how comfortable it is because of the strap that goes across the middle width wise but my 2 year old never complains. The mattress itself is not very thick but again, no complaints for the only user. Over all I believe that it was worth the price. I have considered purchasing another one for our home for when/if she ever stays the night at her other grandma's house or if we go for a hotel stay. Don't purchase this item if you think it will me a miracle nap spot. My 2 year old has a very structured day and doesn't fuss when it's time to nap. This cot would probably not work if we had to keep laying her down in it. Also, it is very close to the floor only off by about 6 inches. Comparable to my daughters toddler bed but no side rails. Has not been a problem.

Haven't tested it yet.

I haven't really had a chance to use this yet. I purchased it for my dogs. they like to sit in chairs when we camp or just sitting outside around the fire. they are both labs and like to sit together and most chairs won't work for that. I set this up in the living room and they both got on and seemed to like it. We'll know in a couple weeks when we take our first camping trip. I did notice that it's very stable, even when they climbed on at one end it stayed flat on the floor.

Great Product

We just purchased this and used it the weekend we got it. It worked great, our 2 1/2 year old loved it and slept great in it. It does form around her, so it would be a little hard for her to roll out. I cant rate the durability, but the other Regalo products we have are holding up great. Its light and easy to set up. My wife had it set up by the time I got up to the room with the luggage.

What a find this portable cot was!

After reading several reviews (almost all of them positive) with a concern from a few about the band at the center of the cot being potentially uncomfortable for a child's hip area, one of the reviewers took the time to specifically mention that the company had addressed this problem and changed the location of the support band(s# which are stitched to the underside of the canvas for added strength. I took a chance and she was "spot on". The support stitching on the newer ones are now crisscrossed similar to two large XX's across the entire length of the cot leaving the hip and shoulder pressure point areas free and comfy. It's a snap to set up/take down. The construction is sturdy. I only need the one for pintsized overnight visitors, but have other out-of-state grandchildren who's parents travel with then on vacations. What a great gift these will make. The price is great, weighs only 4#, easy/small to pack...it is perfect. Yes, I would recommend this cot in a heartbeat!

Excellent bed for toddlers!

I recently bought this cot for my 20 month old toddler for a 3 night hotel stay. He has been out of a crib for a few months now, but I wasn't comfortable having him so high off of the floor in the regular bed yet so this was a perfect choice. Some great points about this cot is it's size, especially in a hotel room. It can easily fit into a small space and we liked that it was low to the floor and gave him a small quiet zone to fall asleep. Also, it folds up and fits very easily into the carrying bag. It's also very light-weight to carry. Some drawbacks though are that it would be nice if the carrying bag had a handle or strap to be able to carry it easier. The drawstring on the bag only closes the opening, but does not have a drawstring clasp or anything. You have to tie it up yourself. Also, the accompanying bed sheet is convenient, but not very soft. We ended up using a full-size fleece blanket folded over, so he would sleep on top of half and covered with the other half. While we have not tried camping with this cot yet, I think it will still be usefull over the next couple of years. Overall, if you need a safe, affordable bed option for a young child, this is the best way to go.

Love it!

Great product! We have a 2 1/2 year old and he had outgrown the pack n play but wouldn't sleep on the floor very well because he moves around too much! This has been great! It's great for a night at the grandmother's houses and it was also great on vacation! No complaints!

Works great

For the price and convenience, you can't beat this. We needed an extra bed for the grandparents house and this worked perfect. My 2 1/2 year old daughter slept on it for a week and loved it. There isn't a ton of padding but she seemed perfectly fine and slept well every night. Depending on the height of the child, I would guess this would work thru age 5/6.

My triplets just out grew their Pack and Plays and I have been searching for something to use for traveling. This toddler cot has been wonderful! They fold down and up super easy..which is a plus when you need to set up and take down 3 beds. They also come in a nice travel sack which makes them easy to transport. The size is perfect for fitting practically anywhere. I appreciate that it comes with a sheet, but regular crib sheets will work as well. The cots sit close to the ground, so you don't have to worry about someone getting hurt if they roll off. Overall, a great solution for sleeping toddlers on the go.
