Great for the beach

I bought this for my 2 year old to comfortably nap when we go to the beach and he fell asleep no problem. Best ever! It folds up small (like a camping chair) making it portable. The center support may be a bit uncomfortable for older kids, but works well for smaller ones.

Not comfortable

I like the size and portability, but there's a strap in the middle that makes the bed high in the middle and low everywhere else. If the strap was not there, it would be much more comfortable for my little one to use for a nap. I guess you get what you pay for.

Wonderful!

My 3 year old daughter slept on this bed for a week at the beach and she absolutely loved it! Just her size and really close to the floor in case they fall out. Setting it up is a breeze - it just unfolds. My only thing, like everyone else on here, I just wish it was a little softer. I folded up a thick blanket and put it under the cover. That worked fine!

Has problems - but they can be fixed

The collapsable travel cot folds up small and is easy to pack - it does this perfectly. Many other reviewers mentioned a strap across the middle making it uncomfortable. That strap IS there and left the way it is it IS UNCOMFORTABLE! However, I was able to rig it up so that my daughter slept perfectly stretched out across the cot. Before I go on I should mention I do a lot of camping so I had all the material I needed on hand and this didn't cost me a thing. If I had pay for these I would have felt differently about the cot. Here's what I did: I cut up an old 3/4 inch closed-cell foam sleeping pad (available cheap at many outdoor stores and possibly even Walmart). I cut it into 4 eqaul size squares, approximated 2'X2'. I laid these on either side of the strap - two high so that there was 1.5 inches (2 layers of the 3/4 inch foam) on either side of the strap. Then I took a "short" 47-inch long therma-rest self inflating sleeping pad and laid it across the whole set up. After doing this the top mattress feels flat and the strap is not felt at all. My daughter slept perfectly. If I had to buy these things on my own it may have cost another $60 - added to a $25 cot.. so that may not have been realistic. But, as I mentioned, I had them on hand. You may be able to find a knock-off brand short mattress instead of a therma-rest and drop that price down. Without doing this I WOULD NOT HAVE RECOMMENDED THE COT.

Good temporary cot

The cots were purchased for my visiting Grandson's. The cots are appropriate for 2 to 5 year old children. the cots are sturdy, but if you have tall children may not be long enough. The need for additional padding would be nice. I will have to return one of them as my 6 year old grandson is too tall for it and slept better on the floor in a sleeping bag. The cot folds very compactly for storage. I found that for the younger grandson that a foam mattress pad cut up and placed under the sheet helped a lot. This is a great idea for temporary sleeping for a small child.

Nana's opinion

Sorry I returned it before my 3 yr old grandson tried it. It looked more like a place for a child to take a nap than spend a nite on. Like other reviewers noted the support straps look uncomfortable and don't seem necessary for small childs weight. The material alone looks durable without these additional crisscross straps. Wished it was more like a hammock -no straps. Ended up buying a small inflatable mattress( takes crib size sheets) which had separate inflatable surrounding sides(looked like a mattress in a inflatable life raft. Grandson loved it. Especially with the nifty character comforter & sheet set. LOL. Redesign without strapping and I'll buy it..

My triplets just out grew their Pack and Plays and I have been searching for something to use for traveling. This toddler cot has been wonderful! They fold down and up super easy..which is a plus when you need to set up and take down 3 beds. They also come in a nice travel sack which makes them easy to transport. The size is perfect for fitting practically anywhere. I appreciate that it comes with a sheet, but regular crib sheets will work as well. The cots sit close to the ground, so you don't have to worry about someone getting hurt if they roll off. Overall, a great solution for sleeping toddlers on the go.

This is a great idea for visiting little ones but i would not recommend this cot to any one. The craftmanship is shoty. It fell apart with in 5 days of my 30 pound granddaughter sleeping in it (even tthough it is suppose to be able to support up to 75 pounds). Too bad, cause i really liked the idea of being able to take it on trips too.

Very small, poor quality

We opened the box, let the kids lay on it for a few and realized that there is a metal bar in the center of the bed, going from side to side. As soon as the kids laid down, they could feel the bar in their back. Very annoying to have to drive to local WM to return. :( Don't buy this unless your child is tiny..

Cot ok but carry bag is made cheap

I purchased this cot fort granddaughter to use. Cot is ok but when I went to put it back in the bag the first time the plastic adjuster on the string broke. I called Regalo and they informed me that they no longer make the bag and I'd have to take the whole thing back. Forget it!! I will keep it but I don't recommend any Regalo products. Very disappointed.
