I purchased this item for my young daughter to enjoy during our camping trips. I had it shipped site to store. I arrived at the store to retrieve my item, only to find the packaging damaged and holes in the canvas on the cot. I had to return the item and I found that I couldn't even buy the cot on the site again, it wasn't available any longer. Horrible experience overall.

I bought two of these cots for my grandchildren so that they would have a place to take a nap at home or while traveling. I like that it is compact and easy to take along .My grandchildren love them. I would like them even more if they were a little bit longer.

Easy set up (it takes seconds), my 3 year old son uses it for naps. He looks very comfortable there. It has a sheet that you can easily remove and put it in the washing machine. I will not use it for sleeping at night as it doesn't come with a mattress.

We bought this for our two year old for vacation and grandma's house. It was great. She loved it so much, she would crawl in at bedtime with no problem. It was a great transition from baby bed to big girl bed. When we returned from vacation she went from a crib into a toddler bed.

I bought this cot to use when my granddaughter comes to stay overnight with us. She is just now in a toddler bed. The cot is low to the ground so she can get in and out by herself. She seems to be comfortable and loves that it is hers and not a big bed.

Based on the prior reviews of 4/5 stars, I thought this might be ideal for my 3year old on our next vacation. The idea is good, the portability and weight is great. What the pictures do not relate is how uncomfortable the "bed" really is. There is a band that doesnt show up in the photographs that runs across the middle width that doesnt make it comfy at all. Imagine laying on a hammock with a rope going across under your hips!! No way you can relax or even sleep in it. And it is advertised for ages 2-5. My daughter is about to turn 3 next month and is by no means a tall kid and it is just suitable for her height. I could not see a 4 or 5 year old sleeping on this cot. Overall... if they made it 6 inches longer and without the band so the cot would actually be comfortable, this product would be GREAT!

I run a small in home daycare, and purchased these cots for the two toddlers I care for. While the children did not break these cots, and loved having their own space. My 30 lb cocker spanial jumped up on one. I suppose it was the force of his jump, but it broken the bracket connecting the material in the corner of the mat. I thought these cots were made to with stand 100 lbs? I think that I have either a faulty bracket (which is made of plastic) or they are not as strong as I had expected. However, the second cot I purchased remain in tact and is in use. My overall review will be determined on how smoothly the return/exchange of the broken cot, which I will be doing this weekend. The disappointing aspect of the situation is that one of the two toddlers will be without a cot to sleep on, and I will have to make due with some fort of floor pallet until a new item is shipped to the store.

My toddler loves this, we are currently in the process of moving so I got this for her to sleep in regularly. Its definitely strong because a few times my daughter has jumped on it and it hasnt damaged. The only thing I would recommend is to add an extra blanket or foam cushion because alone you can feel the bars underneath

My granddaughter loves this little spare bed to sleep close to Mom or to watch TV! Could be a little more sturdy but is holding up well for our 48 pound 5 year old! Wish I had the money I'd buy 2 more for when friends come over! An awesome little bed!

This purchase was worth the money. Steel frame and the cot is made of nylon material that can be washed if needed. Wished I would have know that Walmart carried something like this sooner. It was not carried in our local store, so had to order on-line.
