This is the first time purchasing these olives. Before, I've always purchased the Early California olives thinking they were the best. However, after trying the Extra Large Pearl pitted Olives I must say "I've found a new can of olives to purchase. Of the 8 pack, I've already consumed 4 of the cans and haven't had the issues of some soft broken olives I usually find in the Early California ones. Plus the taste is much better then the Early California olives.

For a well known brand (that I grew up with) I feel like the quality control is not that great. Every single can of olives has a minimum percentage of mushy olives. I would say sometimes even 30% of a can. I don't know about you but I'm looking for firm olives.

I use the brand Pearls Extra large all the time. Good price.

Extra Large is "Absolutely" misleading. Even "Large" would be misleading. These Black Olives are NORMAL size. They are good and we will purchase them again, but using the term "Extra Large" is dishonest!!

Rec'd first order, they had a white fungus type material on them. Reported to company, they sent free replacement, but they were the same condition.

Packaged well. Didn’t rip or come apart with my rough handling. With the multi package, it was cheaper than buying them individually at another store.

extra large olives used to be the size of a quarter, now the size of a nickel, but better than other brands which are the size of a dime and include olive pieces.

These are actually better than Early California Olives, there are no “soft” olives likes there always are in Early. I’m very happy and have a new olive!
