I have wash them a few times and they don't show any signs of pilling or wear. I love the fact that they are 100% cotton is that makes them so comfortable and they get softer with each wash. They were perfect complement to my guest bedroom to make my guests feel right st home. It's very difficult to find 100% cotton sheets right now and these are wonderful and just the right weight for being cool in the summer yet warm enough during the winter months.
