Love It

I bought this for my 3 year old son. He normally bunks with his sister but she has kicked him out because of his wildness. I don't have room for a regular bed. This product was easy to set up and very easy to store. Of course being 3 he wants to jump and so far so good, still holding up. I love the fact that it takes up very little space, can take it to granny's, low to the ground and easy to store: just fold up and put away. I would definitely recommend this product!

Excellent for the money

I purchased this during the summer when I had my teenage stepdaughter fly in for her visit. My toddler daughter just loved the idea of sleeping next to her big sister in this cute little "mini bed". Set-up was a snap, literally. The cot just unfolds. It is very low to the ground, just the right height for a toddler. I like that it has the removable cover because day one, my toddler spilled juice on it. I did add an extra blanket on top of the sheet cover to give my baby more padding, but I think she was fine the first night without it. All in all, best $30 bucks I could have spent. Can't wait to bring it to San Diego and save on the roll-away cot fees that the hotel would have charged us.

Exactly what I expected

I had read a few reviews before purchasing this item, so I knew that by it's nature it has a bit of a "bulge" in the middle so that it isn't a totally smooth cot, but that doesn't seem to bother my toddler, and the cot is similar to those used at her daycare, and she is willing to use it. It is a nice size for car travels, though it is a little heavier than I think I would want to take on plane trips. But overall we like it.

Exactly what I needed

I have purchased three of these now to use for my in-home daycare center. They are very easy to setup and take down and clean easily. The kids like them as well. We also use one of them for our three year old when we go camping or stay at someones house. They work great!

Outstanding Toddler Travel Bed

This was highly recommended on several Mommy travel blogs, however Walmart had this product the cheapest, as usual!!! Everywhere else charges $39 & I paid $20 with 99 cent shipping. It arrived very quickly & was put to use the day it arrived. My 2.5 year old daughter loved it & took a very long happy nap in it the day it arrived. It will serve us very well in our travels over the next few years. It's super lightweight, ridiculously easy to set up & take down & the material is soft & comfy for kids to sleep on. Set up is like a bag chair, you just push out the corners & it's done! Pull in the corners & it closes right back up. It's wonderfully easy. It takes up so little space in our car compared to the Pack & Play we had been using. It takes up like 1/10 of the space the pack & play used to take. It's PERFECT!!!

Great for travels

This is a good travel bed. It's light and compact. The only negative is that I wish there was a carrying handle for the bag. It's also a travel bed so there isn't too much cushion available - but that's easily fixed with a workout mat that easily sits on top (under the cover). My son is 2 and he uses it just fine.

Great travel cot for children!

We bought this cot to keep as a weekend bed for our 3-year old granddaughter at our camper. We tried air-mattresses and foam flipout beds, but neither were as versatile as this cot. Since whatever bed she slept in had to fit in our camper-size bedroom, we needed something that would easily move out of the way during the day. The flipout bed was too awkward to move, so we ended up walking on it during the day. The air-mattress would stand up against the wall during the day, but it was extremely noisy during the night as she flipped and flipped to get comfortable. So, when I saw this cot on Walmart's website, I just had to buy it. It met ALL my expectations: easily set-up and retracted, just the right size, and no noise from the sleeper turning in the night! The only downside, I would say, would be the one layer of fabric supporting the body. This is no different for any cot, but I chose to soften it nevertheless. I simply cut a piece of a two-inch foam "crate" mattress topper that I happened to have around the house, and put that between the cot and the cover that comes with it. Then, I topped the bed with a soft knit crib mattress sheet, which I take home to wash at the end of each camping weekend. Result: one awesome bed! Best of all, our granddaughter loved her new bed and couldn't wait to show her parents when they came to pick her up. I recommend this cot to anyone who travels with a young child (2-5)!

Great Price and Great Product

I bought three of these, one for my two year old son and one for each of my two year old twin nephews. We took them on our annual family vacation because the boys were too big for their playpens. For $20, they were perfect. Even for $50, they would have been worth the money. I read complaints about the bar in the middle, but I think that the design must have been changed since those were written. To make contact with the bar, I had to push quite a bit of weight on the cot.

Not as sturdy as it looks in the picture.

Ordered the cot and Yo Gabba Gabba blanket combo. They came separately. The cot holds up to 75 lbs and looks sturdy in the pictures however, up close there is a supportive strap in the center that runs taut and a diagonal supportive strap that run along both half's that do not stay taut. The result is a dip on both sides of the middle support strap (doesn't appear too comfortable). To compensate we put a pillow on both half's so at least now it's padded but it isn't what I expected. Also would like to see a foam pad to insert under the sheet for comfort.

awesome for saving space

I have purchased three of these for my grandchildren all under 9 years old. They are terrific, the kids love them and and they are easy to setup and take down. We needed something easy to use and that took up very little space when not in use these fit the bill, compact durable, perfect and so was the cost.
