This cot is PERFECT for sleepovers, hotel rooms, grandma & grandpa's RV, camping, & sick nights in mom & dad's room. For less than the cost of renting a roll-away bed 3 nights at a Disneyland hotel, it has paid for itself after one vacation AND saved us the cost of upgrading from a room to a suite. WIN WIN! It doesn't lock into an open position but there are stoppers to keep it from collapsing or folding up when in use, easily folds up & tucks into the carrying bag for storage when not in use. Earlier reviews mentioned support straps being awkwardly located & uncomfortable so we used a folded blanket under the "sheet" - nice & comfy. 3 yr son LOVED it. (3 years old, 30 lbs, 37" tall) Our older kids were jealous because they exceeded the 75 lb weight limit. We are so happy with it, we're ordering more as gifts.

Perfect for grandchild's sleepovers and visiting naps. Folds compactly away and opens easily for use in one movement. Raised off the floor at a safe height. Nice it comes with removable cover for washing. Would also work well for a family camping trip.

I bought this for my little girl when she's living with me. Since I don't have a room just for her, and my room isn't the biggest, this is awesome 'cause it folds up into a small little bundle and folds out into a nice size bed for my little girl. She just loves it. When it's nap time or bed time, she gets excited to go to sleep on "her bed" as she puts it. She just transitioned from a crib to a day bed, so this was a perfect buy for us.

We ordered this cot for our 2 almost 3-year old son because he was getting too big for his pack-n-play at grandma's. The cot it great! Low to the ground, comfy (we put a folded quilt on it because the support bars are a little hard, but not too bad), and our son thinks it is very cool because it is a "big boy bed"! Only a couple of things I wish were different... the bag is very simular size and design of a folding chair, but it does not have a handle and is a little thin. As I mentioned earlier, there should be a little more padding on the cot. Overall I highly recommend this cot!

I HIGHLY recommend this product. I did not notice any hard bar in the middle and anyway, my 30-lb. 2 year old is barely heavy enough to indent the bed enough to touch the bar anyway. I LOVE the portability, size, and quality of the product. It even fits under his feet on the floor of the car, that's how compact it is! No need to take up valuable luggage space in the back. He slept great on it too, even though we were away from home and he is not great at changes. He seemed to think it was just like his toddler bed at home. Don't hesitate if you are thinking of getting this product!

This is a good travel bed. It's light and compact. The only negative is that I wish there was a carrying handle for the bag. It's also a travel bed so there isn't too much cushion available - but that's easily fixed with a workout mat that easily sits on top (under the cover). My son is 2 and he uses it just fine.

i bought 2 of these for both my boys (16month & 40 month) Compact and great but the only thing is that it needs an extra padding for longer sleep but def a good buy for the price. Good for sleep over at relative's house, napping at home, camping. Only if they have different color then it'll be great!

After reading the reviews and seeing the complaints about the center support being uncomfortable, I still decided to order 2 cots for my almost 3 yr old twins. I'm glad I did! They worked perfectly. They are nice and low to the ground - I was worried they'd roll out, but they didn't. I did buy one foam mattress topper ($10) and cut to size, placing it between the cot and fitted sheet, just to ensure my kiddos' comfort. I also bought inexpensive sleeping bags from WalMart to place on top. The kids LOVED their beds and stayed in them all night and slept great during our recent week-long vacation. Just FYI for those curious to compare their kids... my daughter is long and lean, weighing in at 26lbs or so. My son is a bit bigger, weighing about 32lbs. There is plenty of room for them to grow before outgrowing this cot. Hope this helps!

The only thing I would note at "not up to par" is the cover for this item. It is pretty rough to the touch and the padding isn't really very "padded", but it is well stitched and fits the cot securely. The cot is very easy to open and stores well in the sleeve provided. Very sturdy and well made. Have already used at sporting events, sleepovers, visits to the pool, naps at home, watching movies in the living room... you name it. I like that my son can use to sit on or laydown. I would recommend this product to anyone who has a child who might need to take a nap or just rest on-the-go (anywhere really -- we made a tent in the living room and it worked perfectly there too :-) Enjoy!

My husband and I had trouble getting our 3 year old daughter to sleep in her own bed, so we bought this to put beside our bed in our room. We set it up, and thankfully with no problem she has slept in it every night since. The only thing we had to do was put a blanket under the sheet to make it a little softer, but other than that I would totally recommend this product to other parents. It is also going to come in very handy when we travel being it folds up small and has a carrying case. Absolutely love it!!
