I bought this iron to use for pressing block seams. It does a wonderful job as it gets hot enough to press seams flat without distortion.

Very light weight. Runs on tap water by design. Gets very hot so I can iron linen. Leaks a little on steam mode.

This is my 4th Rowenta DA1560. It is great for use in quilting. It is lightweight. I wish the water reservoir was a little larger.

I quilt and do retreats. Iron perfect but handle broke in less than 6 mos! Design needs changed on handle!

It was a nice little iron until handle broke. Ordered replacement handle. After 2 months of waiting cancelled order. Would not buy it again

I bought this a couple months ago and I was very happy with it until the handle broke and I burned myself pretty badly.

I am a quilter, I use it for turning under applique, it is just the right size, and can be used with or without steam.
