My wife has been wanting a red Swingline stapler ever since the movie "office Space" came out. Finally got one for her. Very well built and works great.

My boss had a habit of buying office supplies haphazardly. When I took over as office manager I noticed that we were going through a lot of staplers. The only ones that we didn't have to replace were the 747. From then on I only buy the 747. And when someone leaves the company, I make sure that I put their stapler back in the supply closet so it doesn't get lost and I can reissue it to the next new employ. They cost a bit more that other stapler, but, they hold up and do not have to be replaced very often. I just recently replaced my old red 747 with a new black 747. I had the red one for the last 13 years and it was used when I got it. It still works but it gets jammed. I think I dropped it one to many times. I keep iit in the closet for a spare.

i bought one of these at a yard sale took it to my office 2 hours later some jack in the bean stock stole it I did not get the chance to really use it left one of those stupid one that barely stapled 4 sheets with trouble I will buy one of these again they can staple like 35 sheets no problem if I did catch that jerk who stole I would call the police have the person arrested

In a world of ever changing " new " products it is great to see an old stand by remain available. I am old enough to remember of the Swingline products from the Tot to the early electrics. I am glad to see that they have kept the same quality in this product through the years.

This is an excellent stapler. Just as I would expect from Swingline, as I have been using their products for years... However, this is not the same as the one in the picture. I bought this thinking that they were identical. The one they sent has a rounded off front, not squared off as in the photo. I tought it was a match. I just wish they would keep their pictures up to date.

They are typically good staplers, but I never received the product!
