The sound clarity and the ease of set up are 100%!!! The vibration on the outside of the ear took me a minute to get used to but that leveled out fast! My only problem with this product is that they are too big! I bought the "mini" version because i have a small head, but there is still 2+inches between the back of my head and the bar that connects the ears!! So my jacket collars always catch on it...

This is my 3rd pair - just like the others they “sit” well & the sound is remarkably superb. I hope these last longer than the 1st 2. The 1st one, after about 2 yrs., lost quality of connection [sound became fuzzy]. Something happened internally to the 2nd one, again after about 2 years - sounded like there were little metal pieces that came loose or disconnected & clink against each other. Only been a few weeks and everything is GOOD.

Returned them immediately. Right away the audio started skipping -- going in and out. Instructions for troubleshooting said to reset/repair them, I reset them but it kept happening. My cellphone was sitting next to me so it wasn't a bluetooth problem. Also the instructions on how to use them are poor. Clicking to move backward or forward to songs is terrible. Going forward one song was ok, but I never could get it to go backward. Also the controls on the headset are not easy to use while wearing. I did answer a phone call without any trouble, but ended the call with my cellphone. Basically not worth the hassle.

I’ve been a marathon runner wearing air pods for several years and finally was influenced to try Shokz! I like the hygiene aspect, comfort and battery life since I wear them for hours at a time! However, my biggest complaint is the volume level, even when up all the way, is too low to hear on many of my runs. I am a city runner and run next to a highway often and can not hear any of the words of my podcast during these miles when using my Shokz. Airplane is the same- these are unfortunately useless because I can’t hear anything over the plane white noise. I end up needing to hold one of the ear pieces into my ear to hear anything.

Why I love my Shokz Open Run earphones. 1. Comfort- I wear them for hours without discomfort. Try that with in ear devices. 2. Long range- I can walk around the house without my phone in my pocket and it still works most places. 3. Works all day, I only charge it at night.

I love this headset! The open ear design gives so much in comfort and flexibility and acts as an extra audio channel for my life. Water resistance means that I don't have to worry about rain and I can and do even wear them into the shower. Battery life and charging is excellent. Mini size means I can listen lying down without pressure on the back of my ears. I've also gifted several opencomm and openrun headsets, and have been told they were some of the best gifts my people have ever received. Areas for improvement: I wish the openrun had the big control buttons like the opencomm, and the interface beep is much too loud when wearing earplugs - would be nice to configure that. Can also be tricky to triple-click to restart a track on the openrun, whereas it works great on the opencomm.

Fantastic earphones all the way around Great sound. I wear them all day for phone use, very comfortable! They stay charged all day plus and are quick to recharge. Open air allows me to be aware of my surroundings while listening to my device. and can interact with people. while listening to whatever's on my device at the time. Unbelievable piece of technology

I purchased the mini hoping it would be closer to the back of my head because when i use them for workouts the bigger one that i currently have gets in the way when i am doing floor work. The mini wasn't that much smaller and still gets in the way but I will continue to use them on walks and runs. Great product otherwise...

Easy to connect and use, quick charging, and they stay on my head when I’m active. They work great with lower levels of background noise, but even in a busy store I can enjoy my music without sacrificing awareness. A cheaper brand’s version instantly gave me a headache and jaw cramp, but these have been very comfortable throughout a couple of weeks of use. It’s nice to be free from ear discomfort and infection I struggled with from standard earphones.

Great sound quality from music as well as microphone on calls. The fit is ok, it doesn't "lay" as well as I would like behind my head but the mini is definitely better than the standard. For those of us in colder climates or who run with hats, the headphones work but it's going to feel odd.
