I bought the open run mini. I'm a 5'3" female with what I think is a typical size head for my body. I generally find the fit good, but I wish they were a little tighter for better conduction. They drift around a bit on my head, but stay in place to keep the sound audible though not as clear as when I gently hold them in place. I wear them for cycling to be able to listen to podcasts or music while staying more aware so clarity of sound is not a top priority for me. The tactile buttons work well and are easy for me to press, even with light gloves on. I wish the power on/off voice and beeps when I adjust the volume were at the same level as whatever I'm listening too. I cringe a bit when I have to adjust the volume with the buttons as there is a very loud beep after each adjustment. I take the headset off before turning off and pair/turn it on before placing them on my head. Otherwise I feel like my eardrums are exploding.

After using two of the previous generation headphones I decided to pick up the updated open runs expecting a similar product. Unfortunately the manufacturing on the new product is not the the same quality. The fit is totally wrong and the structure of the headphones have lost its rigidity. I noticed a great deal of sway and flop when running. Very uncomfortable and frankly do not work. The new voice is also very cringe Instant return

Great alternative to in-ear devices as you can everything around you as well. I have 2 minor issues with them in that the loop sticks out too far behind my head (size is correct per the Shokz fit guide) and if used for hands free phone calls the sound has a distinct hollow quality to it. Sound quality for podcast listening or for music is better than expected though.

Got these to replace in ear beats headphones. Great battery life. I wear them while riding and working out and can still hear everything. Today I noticed they even fit under my snowboard helmet. I was right on for size regular and they seem a little big so the small might have been better. Also I wasn’t expecting great bass but the bass sounds still disappoints. The mic can’t understand me when accessing the phone. They are best when you are a sweaty mess doing a hit workout and they stay right in place.

I bought these and loved them at first but there are a few issues. First is that they are a little uncomfortable with glasses on. They tend to push your glasses crooked over time. Second is that sweat builds up under the pods where they rub on your skin. Constantly wiping them and my face. Lastly and the biggest problem is that after around 6 months the on off switch has gone bad. It is hit or miss getting them to power on. Warranty call ended up with me sitting on hold for over an hour before just giving up. Will try again with warranty and then see if Sams will stand behind them.

The good: I got a pair of these for myself and my husband recently, and we both love them. I got the smaller size for me (5'5' woman with small head) and got the regular size for my husband (6'1 man with regular size head), and they fit us well. - We like to run outside, and these feel much safer than wearing earbuds while we're around cars. - Also, my husband is always fighting with the need to clean wax out of his earbuds, and that problem is eliminated here, which is honestly the reason I looked into these in the first place :P - I'm also excited to wear them in the pool next summer, swimming laps is maximum boring with no sound. - I like that I can wear them around my neck when I take them off vs. having to hold ear buds in my hand when I take them off. - I like that if one of us is listening to something and the other starts talking, we can still hear each other without having to fiddle around and pull something out of our ears. The less good: I had hoped to wear these for work calls too, but I think the mic quality is not as good as my earbuds, so I am mostly using these for exercise and not work. One thing I would change - they don't turn off automatically after a period of dormancy. They don't burn a lot of battery when they're just sitting on my desk, but they stay connected to my bluetooth until I manually disconnect them, and I don't love that, esp bc I'm using other ear buds for work. If I had my way, they would turn themselves off after 10-20 minutes of dormancy. The take home: We are really happy with these and I do recommend them! We love them so much that I just bought a pair for my brother for Christmas!

These are just the best. They do not fall off/out and you can listen to music and still participate in life around you. I can run/walk and still hear traffic, other people, and be aware of my surroundings. I probably wear these 5 or 6 hours a day. I use them for everything. I don’t even know I have them on. No ear pain at all. Easy to charge and they connect to all my devices effortlessly. Over the years I have had expensive earbuds. Those pro Apple ones lasted a day when I cleaned the toilet and flushed one of them. Can’t happen with Shokz. A great product.

Easy on the ears, good sound quality and paired easily with the I-phone. Phone sounds good as well as streaming, but those on the other end of calls complain of too much background noise. Switching back to wired ear buds for calls now and now using the OpenRun for music only.

I was more curious than anything about bone conduction earphones but wasn’t confident the sound quality and comfort would be good enough. It turns out I had no reason to worry because Shokz are amazingly comfortable and the sound quality is very good. i am very happy with my purchase!

The headphones work very well. I run on a lot of streets and where I need to be aware of my surroundings. These allow me to hear everything around me and still be able to listen to my music. I’ve also used these for works periodically and they do well. Like others have shared, they are so comfortable that I forget I’m wearing them often.
